Hey there! Although I don't know much about the Japanese-Chinese war but I couldn't help but notice that perhaps the Sithe represent Japan in the story? Tech superior invansion seeking to take over the chinese lands only to be rendered helpless due to the territorial advantage or something?

I don't know much about this topic. So I will leave this little cute bomb here. Bye :blobpeek:

I don't think it is related to real life but just a convenient way to start and finish a large scale war

Nah, it was more likely making the MC struggle cause otherwise, the MC was already one of the strongest in his universe.

You are just forcing a baseless perspective here.

I didn't manage to sniff a scent of nationalism in DE. Neither did I find it in Coiling Dragon or AWE. So it's safe to assume that IEatTomatoes isn't into it.

Although there are fiction with that concept, they are scarce in the popular ones. The only one that immediately comes to mind is 'I really am a Superstar'.

Edit: AWE is written by Er Gen. Don't get mixed up about that folks. Special credit goes to @Saitama.sensei .

It isn't. I think the author just watched Star War at that time
