    There was an old-Japan-timeline manga I read in which the MC was a boy who could hear thoughts. He had a rags-to-riches journey to create his business. Due to growing up on the streets, and his ability, he was very distrustful towards people. He arranged a marriage with a mute girl, whose thoughts he couldn't hear. Turns out, she can see other's thoughts written whenever they say something, but she's illiterate.
