Wih the amount of grotesque creatures and scenes in death mage I believe it will not contain much of the novel. I would read it nonetheless.
I'm still mad that those two dark-skinned girls on the cover are sleeping with other dudes + getting pregnant before joining the MC's harem. EDIT: For context, ghouls stop aging when they get pregnant, but the MC is too young to make the girls pregnant so they are sleeping with other ghouls first.
That sounds like an instant turnoff LOL In case anyone is curious, the one on the right is called " レジェンド・オブ・イシュリーン" or legend of ishlin (mal says it's ishlean but that sounds dumb af)

it's okay. The MC's story is pretty normal of what you expect from a JP MC. Plot armor check. Invincible check. Perfect check. I enjoyed the side stories (POV of other characters/worlds) better since none of them are perfect plus plot twists.
Since ghouls don't practice monagamy for obvious biological and practical reasons it would be understandable that that the MC isn't getting cuckolded, not to mention he's only like 7 and already has a harem in the double digits with hundreds more wanting a piece (partly due to skill enticement like dark demon path guidance). Though if it the whole not being virgin thing you will just have to live with it since not every novel caters to those idiotic virgin only fanatics.

Well, first chapters he pretty much almost died. After that he becames stronger every fight he fights. Does that count as "invincible"? About the perfect thing, he is pratically a trap. Everybody that meets him thinks he is a girl, and have dificulties noting him (thin presence). Most of the time, the MC becames grotesque and a living-horror that have centipedes and bees coming from his skin, a tongue that drips poison and that can became very very very long, and his expressionless face combined with white/pale skin gives the creeps.
this work has a rich and branched universe, information is not played the author always explains the points of view of Van (mc) and opponents, is a work that accompanies the growth of mc and the friends he met on the journey his ... has enough action but the MC is not crazy dog type avenger but he is very active in its objectives and is always happening something new in the novel
