At the Walmart closest to me, they have set a limit on stuff; Meats: 1 per person, Eggs: 2 cartons per person and Toilet Paper: 1 per person (same goes for paper towels). The instant food does not seem to be limited as there is little to no canned goods, and I am unsure about hand sanitizer as I was not looking for them at the time. Is there anything besides common sense that doesn't work in Talosheim? Something that does not have to do with the thread, some of you know a culture novel where the protagonist does not spend it ascending from higher plane to higher plane and take the time to enjoy his plane or visit others of the same or lower level ?
well right now their tourism industry and foreign trade aren't super great. but id imagine that'll change at some point
Tourism and trade should be doing fine, they've got people from the other kingdoms in the BMR to trade with and have tourists from.
i forgot they have undercover people, i guess i meant in a more official capacity as an equal country to the others in the world. not to suggest that they'rr struggling with either of those things, they were just the only 2 areas i could think of that were probably lacking compared to every other industry at the moment.
Their entertainment industry is making leaps and bounds, but I'm not sure Van has worked out TV broadcasts yet, though Luciliano may be working with a kind of internet, or intranet, using psuedo main bodies and golem calculation... the Space Program hasn't gotten off the ground yet either, I think....
Coiling Dragon? tons of world building and he travels all over his native plane and one of the higher planes later in the book (plus half of another and a lower plane) ofcourse there is action and fight scenes all around but it paints a large picture of everywhere he goes and its not just shrugged off as "a new place lets hurry up"
I know it, it is a difficult read, but it always stays on my list because I know it will be worth reading.

@imafire I actually had plenty of food stocked for a blizzard and hurricane prior to this pandemic thankfully. Those were just my observations while I was getting some fresh vegetables and sinus & allergy medication. Pasta is running low though. Rice I have plenty. However to be frank, it gets dull staying indoors all day with internet. I feel for the people that live alone. At least I have company. Yay new chapter.

2 chapters back to back? What joy! I recognized gufadgarn but the surprise return of Kuhl was awesome. Van is the most OP and low key emperor in history. I can't wait for the rest of this story to see what shenanigans Van and his crew get into. One question what do you think Van will do with his golem house once he's done? Will it become a monster house?
Hmm, baby bat named Nightwing... Will we also get a batman? We also have Quinn, so what about the joker? Or could Van be the joker?
