    about the royal capital arc, did the author resolve the rebellion and the marquis giving a red rope monster to the princess? Its arc 14 still no additional info

    Maybe he left it incomplete, it was just a side quest after all. Main quests are all about food.

    That was swept under the rug, even the rebellion plot was sidelined, as he went on to the Journey for the food.

    Death March ACTUALLY has a plot AND a big one at that. For some reason readers often think that food is what this novel all about lol

    Yeah Death March has a lot of plot which link together perfectly. People just decide to ignore all of that

    One of the side stories mentioned that the marquis had been framed by the demon shape shifter, aka green demon of the color squad. It was also found to be a demon plot as the snake charmers tune was the key to the red monsters transforming. I don't think Satou figured out that the green demon was impersonating the marquis though. By demon plot, I also mean rebel plot for those who keep trying to summon demons like nihilistic idiots.
