deceived by reader reviews ....!!! *sulks*

    so....i read the reviews of Dragon blooded wargod .......thought so many people can't be wrong .
    seeing how some of them compared it to novels like CD, ATG, BTTH, PMG ( i agree PMG is on the same level as DBWG) .

    So....i started reading the novel....and it totally destroyed the good mood i had & i was almost annoyed to death.
    Like everyone what i hated The most the MC's bitch of a mom.....although what MC's dad did was definitely a despicable thing to do....but still it wasn't MC's fault , the way she treated him was i think even worse that MC 's dad.
    Plus..... killing not even 5 people ,but still he was regarded as " slaughter god ".....???
    author are you kidding me.....you seriously need to hangout with the author of MGA ....and learn the meaning of slaughter from him dude.

    I've been deceived by reviews as well; but for me, it was more the other way. I was put off by bad reviews of Long Live Summons; but after hearing how awful Yue Yang was as a character, I just had to read it; to see if he was really that bad, and I enjoyed it! Really, people have different tastes, something that everyone enjoys does not exist. Because of that its hard to pick up new novels...

    And why is the tag kittens?

    Personally I don't write a review till there is about 50 chapters of material; that gives you a good idea of how the story will go

    What you need to do is find the reviews to read. I am still not sold on everything he recommends but Lachiel tends to be pretty honest from what I have seen.

    I look for your reviews so you do a decent job. Can't spell neutral, but I won't hold that against you too much ... :p

    Same here. Went to read it due to rave reviews and the synopsis that promised good things... Only to feel betrayed as I read it CAUSE IT WAS ALL A LIE!

    most reviews aren't objective and people give novels a bad rating just because it doesn't fit with what they're into that why I don't even read them anymore
