Imagine writing such a broken character in a story, and it is to the point where you have to find help from others on how to DEFEAT the broken character.

How you do DEFEAT Entity X? Unknown. DEFEAT can be interpreted differently by different persons. What is Entity X (EX)? Unknown. Power of EX? Unknown. Threat level of EX? Lethal only to mankind. Mankind can be interpreted differently by different worlds.

Killing EX is nigh impossible. Restraining EX is night impossible. Delaying EX is nigh impossible. Weakening is nigh impossible. Strengthening EX is nigh impossible. Altering EX is nigh impossible. Sealing EX is nigh impossible. Becoming EX is nigh impossible. Escaping EX is nigh impossible. Destroying EX is nigh impossible. Stopping EX is nigh impossible. Outlasting EX is nigh impossible. Defending EX is nigh impossible. Attacking EX is nigh impossible. Cursing EX is nigh impossible. Purifying EX is nigh impossible. Separating EX is nigh impossible. Recreating EX is nigh impossible. Transporting EX is nigh impossible. Contacting EX is nigh impossible.

EX is akin to madness. Short exposure to EX will result in madness. Long exposure to EX will result in death.

Should you successfully DEFEAT EX, then you will be rewarded with 250 N points. You will also be indirectly helping me find a way to DEFEAT EX without plot device.

By the way, I thought you're talking about your actual EX. When I read you meant Entity X, I was quite disappointed.

I though at first you get stuck in some game that requires you to defeat your ex-whatever... Ranged from ex-girlfriend to ex-boss, or even further.

Closing in on EX? Nah. Who said I had to approach in the first place? Hard to get. EX comes to me.

 

If I want to go further, incorporate alien dna into my genepool, my spawn will technically be neither human nor alien. I think having my kids survive the apocalypse counts as a win.

You and your family survived, but did not DEFEAT EX, so cause of death is natural depletion of lifespan. Exception is if EX infected appears and infects your designated planet's "mankind".

If all those options are only 'nigh impossible' and not actually impossible, then you've just listed a lot of ways to beat EX...

 

can i summon one using the necronomicon i have laying around.
and drag EX down with me using what ever i summons (like nyarlathotep, Shub-Niggurath or Yidhra)

 

I'm one lazy ass, but I need ideas, therefore this is the result of said need.

Using Lovecraft's monsters will only make EX impossible to DEFEAT! It will not strengthen or weaken EX, but it will definitely make EX a true eternal and immortal existence. EX is currently nigh-impossible, but using "outer" forces on EX will make the situation worse.
