Su Zian is truly the worst person. Usually in Xianxia the Patriarch if not the one person to protect the MC would at least be intelligent and think about the family. He throws away family members whenever they have problems and then questions why they are unfaithful when they rise. He deserves what he gets

I completely agree. He does whatever gets him the most benefits with little to no consideration for morals and human decency. When all is said and done, the Murong family earned themselves a one-way ticket off a cliff. Trying to straddle the fence but offending everyone involved.

I like Su Luo, I just wish the assassin past life played a bigger role than being ruthless(which everybody in the story is anyway) and preferring a dagger.

 

At the very least this story acknowledges the plot armor, since Su Luo seem to mostly be praised for having abnormal luck rather than her talent.
Although mostly seem to be her friends that pay enough attention to it...

 

She pays attention to it when it comes to using spirit balls.

 

Well I mainly meant some of her enemies seem to not pay attention to it enough even after a string of set backs and other people even commenting on her bizarre luck, but that is mostly because of characters being stupid. lol

 

Though to be fair if it wasn't for the story constantly throwing dangers at her she would probably cultivate just fine even without the luck. If she's not trying to dodge the latest assassination attempt she is being accused of something, and the few times neither case is happening she's getting molested by the male lead.

 

WTF Su Luo? You have stomped everybody the same level as you and some a level higher than you. You are a legendary assassin. You probably killed more people in the real world than most cultivators.

 

But assassins are different from cultivators and they both fight differently, and so she doesn't have the battle experience of a cultivator despite being a legendary assassin

 

She killed multiple cultivators while being a good for nothing. Stabs to the throat from stealth kill anybody her level.

Like when she reached rank 3 and stomped the guy who had been rank 3 for months. Or when she stomped the group of rank 3 guys tracking her while rank 2 in the city. Or when she defeated her rank 3 sister while rank 2 or her rank 5 sister while rank 4. This idea that she has no experience is ridiculous.

Honestly it seems like the author is forgetting her background and what she has done already in the story.

the pinball thing is more of a comic point now...not really plot armor/deus ex machina. well i guess deus ex machina is a comic point...look at measure for measure...

 

Now now, there is only one chance out ofr ten millions for it to backfire....

The author has this issue where she forgets something major for a fuckton of time and then it become relevant again with a thin excuse of why it wasn't mentioned before.

In this case it's more that Su Luo hasn't really fought much head to head when becoming a cultivator, as she is almost always pit against someone much stronger, so she doesn't really know her own strength.

And, well, her master doesn't have a 'normal' scale, as he is comparing her to the most talented woman that ever lived.

 

I might be late in asking this, but are the rest of the eight-thousand chapters a repetitive trashfest?
