Was planning to start reading this.... just wondering was it really a lot filler? Don't wanna read something like fillerpudden tho

 

It's good...sorry if my posts sound like there's a lot of filler...I've read the mtl and got impatient...the fact that I'm willing to read Chinese mtl is an indication of how good I think it is.

There weren't a lot of fillers before, but the current fight thing with the three mercenaries against this bandit gang is most definitely filler. (MC is currently not even 10% as powerful as he would be normally, it's going to take 3 months to recover.) I'm stacking chapters atm to get over with this, it should get interesting when MC get to the academy.

The other fights are pretty good though, imo you should at least try the novel. The first arc is pretty good.

 

yeah first arc was one of the best i've seen among novels, second arc is generic and meh. Though there was a slight plot twist with Witt. Didn't think he'd get demonised, though I knew he died way too quickly.

 

School arc is NOT meh.

 

Hmm, well it depends *shrugs* I think i've read too many novels to spot what's happening a mile away

And whoever's stocking up just dodged a cliffhanger e.e

 

I like how the author is avoiding cliches...magic is indeed mysterious for most civilians, and you need to blast past magic resistance...also good chappie in combining melee and archers with magic.

 

The terror of higher levels...a good feel for how scary it can be to fight magic enhanced combatants...and the use of smacking techniques to fight higher ranked.

DGM on indefinite hiatus
Well, all novels go on hiatus or rate of release gets delayed during this time of the year since it gets really busy at school

This hiatus will continue for around 6-7 months. I’ll promise you at least 10 chapters or smth after hiatus is gone though.

And yes, I’ll cough up chapter 45 before I actually leave. Can’t leave ya’ll hanging during a fight scene can I ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Got a translator, she's new but decent after editing. Im her translation checker and editor so it should be fine. Unedited chapters will be released first and will only be edited 1-2 days after.
