Do any of you guys get icked out or annoyed when the FL is described as a small animal like a squirrel or even the dreaded rabbit? Because idk, I feel so much cringe when that happens. And if they are a child, I just feel like rolling my eyes or something, maybe I’ve read too many novels?

Comparing women to cute things is such a common behavior everywhere throughout history that I might be more surprised if at least one male character did not do it at least one time in any given story. Unless it is done in an overtly-creepy fashion, I don't see the harm myself - in situations like these, context matters more than mere content.

I guess it's more common for females to get that title but males get it too, like being called a bear, some type of big cat or even a husky/puppy/dog. Sure it's not the same as a outright saying it to them, but females still think it in novels.

Sometimes it can be cringey, but a lot of times I don't really care and it depends a lot on the context it happens in and most of all how overdone it is.
And quite honestly it doesn't just happen for female characters, I've seen a decent amount of male characters described as squirrels or rabbits as well, even if ignoring all the bear and wolf comparisons.

As the above OPs said it depends on the context, I think the same too. But it does get chessy sometimes. Trust me, You might be saying it's Cringy but deep inside I know you guys are blushing muahahahaha.

Sometimes the webtoon artist draws puppy ears on the character, so I don't mind the small puppy description at that point~

Eh, comparing people to things like small animals is normal. Like, do you get icked out if someone is described as wolfish, shark-like, cat-like, etc...?

Actually I think it would be very cool to be described as a shark or wolf. Now I really want a story where FL is described as a dragon or something lol.

Hmm I don't think I did a good job of explaining myself. I dunno, I think I'm kind of tired at describing FL as a rabbit. I think it's mainly because it gives FL a powerless feel and I'm not particularly fond of stories where FL is mainly protected by others. So I guess it may just come down to personal preference then. Some people like a lot more sugar than me I suppose.
