His dao of wanting money is fierce, he's about go to on another shopping spree like he did when he first got to the city where his first sect was situated in. Not too much to say, we don't have any sense of direction so far in the series. He's about to join the parent sect of his old one and train more there. We didn't actually get a proper academy arc at all in the first one because of the mission.
well I think he's supposed to devour the heavens or something ? maybe it's kinda like gintama, with no particular story, but many small arcs ?
As someone who's reading this novel and who abandoned PMG cos of its endless no faces kills and douches, I greatly resent your comparision. There may be plenty of douchebags in the future, but hopefully not as bad as PMG. Compared to PMG, the MC here is more likable(for now) and also....bandit like. If it had been PMG's MC, he would have probably crippled or killed the young master in the trading hall for insulting him, thus creating a new enemy for future genocide. The vibes you get......are just in your mind!!!! Cos you want more PMG. I hope.

Like I said in my comment, it's too rushed the guy goes from mortal to fighter to warrior to master in 30 or so chapters... At this rythm he'll reach god level (or whatever the name) by chapter 50-60 and end of story. Everything comes to him way too easily and in an unnatural way. There's no depth at all, flat side characters and the bare minimum world building. It's still good to pass time but nothing more If I can do a tv analogy, comparing the like of CD, DE, Ze tian ji,.. with DTH is like comparing GoT with law and order. One is a master piece the other is just good to entertain grannies on a Sunday afternoon.
You're taking a post from 50 chapters, and almost 2 months ago. It was the opening discussion post, on a novel with just over 20 chapters out, to generate some reader interest in the novel. If you can be always be correct on the direction that a novel will take after 20 chapters, great for you. He was a young guy punching above his weight that got picked on for seemingly no reason because he didn't seem that strong, only to make them eat their words in straightforward fashion.

The new chapter was annoying. Who feels that story is going to say that Yin Zhenluo was forced into the marriage, Hai family's young master gonna be an asshole and our MC gonna come to save the day and take the girl? Wish that the marriage between Hai and Yin is successful and not forced in anyway. Naturally impossible though....
We already knew this though, the girl doesn't want to marry and has that tool that makes even her elder brother scared. She's not willing at all, she sort of viewed the MC has a potential ally in the future.
The MC has a super OP ability, so him breezing through levels is expected. Not really sure why you're complaining... I hope it doesn't go this route.
Damn you! Interesting, with his cultivation speed just give the MC an hour or two in one of those time room when he enters the sect and he'll be stepping on a lot of people. Gotta to be fast though, looks he might get ambushed as sooon as he teleports to the sect Pissed off a lot of people.
screw that, have him and a bunch of high level enemies join him in that white room and become absorbing material for his dirty old knife and then he spends the rest of the time to stabilize and shock everyone to the point where females will have their fairy-like lips open and ready for "stuffing"
