    I'm surprised they got this much of a huge backlash tbh~

    Like... People still care about Diablo after the 3rd game? I mean... It was such a meh game, I'd imagine people would stop caring about the franchise after that one~

    You're kinda half right 'bout that one but I think from what I heard that it was saved mostly by the Reaper of Souls DLC and because of that, people started to care a bit more 'bout it rekindling their fandom for the franchise and they were mostly hoping for a new Diablo and hope that with their previous mistakes from D3 they would learn something from it. At the same time, it mostly hard core fans who have been following, buying, and playing the Diablo throughout it's inception.
