I'm like 30 chapters into the story and I'm like. Wow. This is THE shit. Has anyone been reading this?
I haven't read it. Only read 1 chapter and it looks depressing. Is it really worth it? Giveme a reason lol
I got to around chapter 110ish like the first part was nice it was different from your standard theme. You have these dice and they are basically status points so you have this "mastermind" who gives missions in exchange for these dice. Seems nice and good a bit shady but after like 70 chapters other people start getting them and then it starts going down hill. And at one point the plot just changes its like nope lets do this now.
I found it fun and interesting to read at the start, but then it just goes downhill for me after a class mates death and what comes after that.
Yeah thats what I meant and at one point theres like this dude from another school and his group that starts doing some crazy shit. So basically the first arc is good the second arc is mehhh/bad third arc just stop reading
I read around 60-70 chapters. Dropped it then. It was still an interesting read. Just felt like there would be too many tragedies later.
The concept is interesting and the art style is also good... But just like others dropped near 100...
Now this is just sad.. I know this is off topic but can someone at least give some other good read, a hidden gem.
Ever read Ruler of The Land? It's one of mangas that have a decent following but no one talks much about. It's one of my favorite mangas, first part is hilarious and second part is action packed.
The first arc is really good. Current chapters though have you scratching your head wondering what happened cause it changed pace and lost most of the action. I'm waiting for it to pick up again before going and continuing it. I wouldn't say it's dropped, only that I'm saving up chapters to binge.
Sure, read it awhile back. Dropped it somewhere in the .. 80s, maybe? Who knows, its been awhile. I dropped it purely because there were no more chapters to read at the time. It was pretty awesome. Idk any... but... if you think DICE was "hidden" then maybe you haven't tried similar common series like Tower of God, Red Storm, The God of High School, Noblesse, Soul Cartel etc. Just don't read Ability. It's a dead end, I tell ya. If we're being broader.. ever read Air Gear? Its been complete for awhile, so easier to miss than others. Definitely worth reading once, if you haven't.
I've read it up until there was a long break in the translation... and haven't come back to pick it up ever since. If I remember correctly it's when the MC's crush going to have a group concert, but she ended up as the only person attending it, while her team busy doing their dice quest or something.
I also ended up forgetting about whilst waiting for more chapters. I really enjoyed it though. I was actually hoping more of the MCs loved ones will die just to see how the the protagonist handles it. He seemed to be treading the path of 'good,' but it seemed to me that he's naïve.
I just started reading and already dropped it halfway through the second chapter. He is just as bad a person as the bullies that beat him up. He looks like a pervert yandere for a girl he has hardly talked to yet wants cries because a new guy talks to her. I can understand being jealous, but the fact you think you should be able to get the best girl in school while you are the worst, means that he thinks he is a better person than everyone else even though he doesn't have anything. We are supposed to feel sorry for him but I can only feel disgusted. Btw, if someone came up to you and said you can become handsome, famous and get the girls by playing a simple game, you would never say "Really?" like some crazed lunatic. Oh wait, he is a crazed lunatic that I never want to see again in my life, whether it is his fault he is or not.
Dropped at 100+, been a while since I've read it. The premise was good but not enough to keep me holding to. Characters used to have some depth or darkness in them but they just started seeming flat as the story went by.
