Did you lot also play this at school or was it only a thing in my country?

As a kid we lit fires and peed to put it out, your parachute is good but does not compete with mine. Even though both have yellow in it. :blobpeek:

Either seems like something from a James Bond movie, or a Mr. Bean one

It was so much fun as a kid we’d put someone in the middle and all hold the sides and lift it up really fast to send them flying in the sky and catch them in it again

Same, I remember playing that, it was fun. I don't remember putting people on top but we probably did a few times. Mostly it was a ball, and there'd be games you'd have to play according to the timing. Everyone would lift it up and down at the same time, once the rhythm was going one group (1/5 or 1/3 it the kids) would have to run to a different spot when it was up before it came back down. And some sort of elimination game. It kept going until there weren't enough people to lift the thing/parachute. I don't remember clearly but it was something like that.

That was fun. I wish we could've played with it more often than the last day of school.

I’m in England as well, and this sounds vaguely familiar for some reason but don’t really remember it
