I was reading the new chapter of EER(Everyone Else is a Returnee) when I saw the word "harmageddon" being used again.
googling it tells me it is a different spelling for armageddon but I am not so sure,
as, why would the translators use the less common spelling?
so I am making this thread hoping someone can help me and tell what is the difference and if there is none why would they use the less common spelling.
    thanks in advance.
( added a poll for fun, in case there are more than 1 thought on the matter:) )

They stick a h in front and say it is a different spelling with the same meaning? I've never heard of that before~

    It's a Korean novel so i would've thought it would've been Farmageddon.

Harmagedōn or Ἁρμαγεδών ancient Greek while Armageddon is from the written Latin of late antiquity.

This is what wikipedia calls "Armagandon"

My best guess is that since it involves multiple worlds, yet at the same time it wouldn't be the end of them, they called it something else.

From what I see it might be a variation spelling from translating it over from another language

    from our saviour wiki:
"Armageddon (/ˌɑːrməˈɡɛdən/, from Ancient Greek: Ἁρμαγεδών Harmagedōn, Late Latin: Armagedōn,[3] from Hebrew: הר מגידו Har Megiddo)"
In the end, it means the same ...

Just like the difference between British English and American English:
    centre - center
    fibre - fiber
    litre - liter
    theatre - theater
