While I’ve read ahead in the raws, hence I can wholeheartedly recommend this series, the translation helps to understand the author’s world building.

We also get glimpses into the background and plotting...so the advanced classes are considered inferior?!

It is logical if people are not aware of advanced skills...

I’m really interested in where the author will go with this...as so far the world building seems logical and consistent, I have hopes. I’ve seen too many Isekai fall flat on their faces after a good start.

 

Derivated classes are slower to level up, so they are inferior...

 

If there are issues with people reaching high levels, or missing information I could see some believing as such, since normally it is high levels where the differences really shine. where as the slow down could hurt you are certain level ranges. (look at a multiclass versus a single classes in D&D, back in 2nd it would take a fighter mage twice as long to reach casting fireball as a stand alone mage, which could easily lead to a pure mage being much more valuable at mid levels)

One story I read about 100 chapters of MTL can be found at https://ncode.syosetu.com/n6811eu/ in this one the MC was max level (99) and re-incarnated resetting to level 1 but keeping stats, the area he reincarnates level 3 is exceptional and the highest around is a single level 4 who took like 40+ years to reach that, they consider him and the female lead failures because his "class" (closer to a crest like in the series with a certain re-incarnated sage) provides no benefits (his removes the growth limits, otherwise development is capped but you need to be VERY high level to hit the cap, where as other do things like make using swords easier/more effective). The female lead has double growth on level up, but at the cost of needing much more experience (I think it was 4 times as much, but anyway it take more for her to hit level 2 then it does for someone to hit level 3) as a result they think she can not level up at all. they have the 2 more broken crests in the long run, but because training in that area if handled so poorly that no one levels up much the community assumes they are useless. Though that series is made a bit worse since the closest town DOES know how to train and level up properly, and the "high Level" adventurers do travel there, even having an item that is traditional to buy at that town as proof of bravery for reaching it.

 

Mass release of RSSG today, after I finish, I will binge. Sounds great, I love game based reincarnation novels.

Yep. I am SERIOUSLY interested if the author plans to explore the possibilities and implications if the MC plans to release this knowledge to the world...carefully after thinking about it on his own. His current revelations about mass produced heal potions is bad enough... though he’s doing a good job controlling this knowledge for his own benefit.
