Anyway, who would you partner be + evolution line

 

It showed them, they catching some angel feathers, and then it showed a light and their crests! >.<

It was clearly a super magical thingy! >.<

Uhn... I like Palmon's line I guess, but I hate Togemon and I'm not fond of Rosemon tbh, but I dunno who I'd substitute them for.

I'd like to go Tanemon>Palmon>Lilymon and stop at that~

 

I say depending on the season in question, both or either opinions can be right, for example 1,2 and three requires the digivice as it represents somesort of bound between the digimon and the human partner otherwise the digimon will need some other way in order to digivolve and reach higher levels of power, in frontier, digivolution was more like a transformation kind of thing, like power rangers morphers in a sense, in data squad however, the digivolutions were again kind of similar to those of season 1, 2 and kind of 3, because at the end the digimons figured out their own way to digivolve on their own without need for digivices, as for the rest of seasons, digivices and digivolutions were something else entirely as digimons were treated like legos or something (except for tri of course as that was somesort of reboot)

I think Lilymon can also digivolve into Minervamon

My first partner was Betamon. Seadramon was an instant favorite of mine. War Seadramon, just awesome. Metal Seadramon was bleh though... I’m fond of mega digimon having a smaller more compact form.

Next was Patamon. His line went all the way to seraphimon, to then Shadow Seraphimon and finally Daemon. Yeah, things got edgy~

Finally was Commandramon, I didn’t like his military uniform though. I also wasn’t too fond of tankdramon either. I switched it for cyberdramon. However, the mega, Darkdramon, which could then become chaosmon, were cool.

True, although a blue card can be seen as something similar to a crest. That said, I think they are more like diginomes due to being a wish/hope of the tamer.

When I was younger, I always thought that dream world from season two and diginomes were somehow connected.

 

Season three was the first season to treat digimons as data, 'feeding' them blue card, red card or other types was the way of dealing with the digimons data adding/removing more 'options', in a sense, like adding functions and blocks of code to a program, diginomes also appeared in season three, while the crest and such in the previous seasons was more like fantasy kind of feel, @AliceShiki 's opinion of holy magic thing have more sense in season one and two
Digimons creators always try to make things connected, perhaps that is why, diginomes were introduced as somesort of fairies in the data world

 

The strongest connection that has survived between the seasons is that Agumon/Greymon is popular and other partner digimon will be some sort of dog.

That said, that’s a fair point. They treated them more like data in the season three. Same with season 5. Although in that case, the concept of data got twisted quite a bit.

From what Ali-chan said about holy intervention. I think Varudomon (a giant white bird digimon) is involved. I think it is somehow connected to Takeru and Hikari.

 

I chose Tentamon because when we were kids I was the youngest, and I get to choose last. Still loyal to this electric beetle though.

 

I think you mean varodurumon and not Varudomon, or is that a new one ?

 

Probably the one you spelled. My spelling is just a guess from something I don’t recall all that well.

 

Well, there was a big holy bird digimon of sorts appearing in the teaser of the upcoming episodes, so... Maybe!

 

Said bird can combine with Bancho Leomon to also form a different version of Chaosmon

 

I don't even know who Chaosmon is! XD

 

Technically, Gabumon is a reptile though
