Weird question to ask, but would you consider a dim sum restaurant a viable place to eat lunch ate with a person you like? I'm asking for research purposes of course cause mainly I only see big families and small groups.

Who cares where you eat, as long as the company is good and the person likes that food. If it's not a 'date date' yet it could be good that you keep it a bit casual, unless you really want the other to know you like them but desperation is not a good sign.:blobwhistle:

    Is the food messy?
Would you be embarrassed to see someone you know if you went there?
Is there a variety of food to choose from?

If you answer any of these negatively, I'd probably pick a different spot.

Fortunately for us, I have never met someone who have stomach problem from eating spicy food. Our stomach are stronger from eating chilly everyday.

    Sad your life

I'm assuming they serve them like usual with 3 to 4 pieces per types? I think it's cute enough, sharing the set with the other.

    1. Tell or ask her to make sure its a romantic occasion.
    2. Yes, id say it is a good place to go on a date. (I live in the US. I'd take the girl i like to the bookstore idc. If she cant read, theres an issue. Who is gonna read to me?)
    3. Sometimes the most casual shit is what a girl wants. If she wants fine-dining, she is probably a HOE.
    4. Treat her nicely, but be realistic.
    5. Not all girls are what they portray themselves as. Same with us doods.

Edit: number 1 was a joke. That is just weird.

different types of locations for different types of purposes, mate. As a place where you want to keep things casual and light, if you're already well into your relationship and are comfortable around each other, then yeah a dim sim restaurant is perfectly fine or even just a family restaurant is fine. They are also good types of places for when you arent yet in a relationship but want that feeling of closeness.

For a more tentative relationship where its official but still fairly new, you'd probably want a...more formal restaurant. Somewhere somewhat quiet where you can talk one on one easier and enjoy a finer kind of menu instead of commonplace burgers and fries or similar foodstuffs.

And if you want to really lay on a thick layer of romance and intimacy you can always go good, old fashioned diner at home. Now if you arent a very great chef, look up a simple recipe or just, order in if you have a good restaurant that delivers. Diner at home is a bit of a risk if you're a slob too but its your own space and inviting that person over shows a certain level of trust and fondness that they'll pick up on assuming they arent idiots.

As far as I noticed, so long as two people like each other - “where” doesn’t really matter.
