Well, I am honestly afraid this is going to end up as the last live action attempt they made, "CGI things and the overpraised (yet actually shit) actress" (beauty and the beast). Genie will not be the same though <.< or the monkey or the carpet or THE PARROT OH NOOO
People actually watch Disney still? Pretty much stopped caring for them after what they did to Star Wars. South Park had it right, lol.
Would be nice if Robin Williams was still around. We'll still get a weird Genie though since its being played by Will Smith.
Diago was his name if I remember right. He was only the second best character, right after Genie. While Genie by Robie Williams was comedy funny, Diago was brutally honest funny. @Estarossa will smith as genie... oh boy
I didn't like the looks of Aladdin in this trailer. Mostly because I thought it ridiculous for a street rat to have perfectly-gelled hair. Other than that, will wait and see. Obviously Will Smith can't do the same performance as Robin Williams did as Genie. But I'm hoping he can provide an equally entertaining alternative, just like the Broadway musical did. Beauty and the Beast miscast Belle, I think. I saw more Hermione in Emma Watson's acting than Belle. Too forceful.
They disgrace star wars, I don't know if I have to trust 'em again. But this is live action, nothing is absolute, hope they not disappoint me this time
I second the motion of genie will never be the same. The actor for genie is dead and to being him back in any way or for will be hard to do the character or actor jusctice. (You never know though it might blow me away, im skeptical though.)
I've already forgotten the animated movie, I might as well join the hype even knowing that it won't be good
The parrot can easily be replaced with the parrot on any pirate captains shoulder in any animated movie ever for being a dick.
