na i don't blame her. she wants to do well and represent her family well too. and being with the bloodline group would bring her the most benefit. from what it seemed like, su chen understood that and would probably still like to be friends with her.

don't worry, probably all of them are going to be forgotten in a 50 or so chaps :/ actually, maybe except for du qing as i think she and cloud leopard are heading towards a steamy relationship and i think cloud leopard is going to play a big role in the mc's conquest. so we may see more of du qing cause of cloud leopard.

 

For a chapter titled Formidable Opponent that female assassin was quite disappointing. Su Chen just fought a much stronger enemy for 3-4 chapters and he knocked this lady out in like 5 moves. Now the question is how much will Su Chen extort her organization for?

Also, where did Jin Ling'er go? She was clearly feeling apprehensive when Su Chen was being bullied earlier, but now she's gone because her monkey body guard died. Also, I don't remember any mention of Iron Cliff fighting, though i might have just forgotten.

 

Here's to hoping the MC will simply kill her and not in some twisted kind of logic forgive her.

 

oh don't kid yourself, she's a beautiful female so 9 times out of 10 she will get away unscathed. That's how it always works in these stories.

 

I don't think he'll kill her because she has a history of being friendly to him and she tried to add him to the group. She also didn't directly harm him in any way since the author forgot she existed once her monkey butler died. The biggest determinant to her situation will most likely be what Su Chen whispered to her after he killed the giant ape. At worst he'll probably cut all ties to her, but I think that's unlikely. I'm betting on her giving a tearful apology.

 

Yeah most likely, although i still don't like it. Technically she still let him down and didn't help him when her teammembers ganged up on him. Now she probably also knows that his team killed all those bloodline nobility guys so there is another loose end.

On another note does anyone know why the last 3 days or so, there haven't been updates?

 

I'm wondering about this too ... Translator should promote himself a little bit more so he can get more support on Patreon ... Some other translators have really huge support, like translator of BTTH .... I just hope this novel doesn't get dropped

 

lol maybe the translator read ahead and author completely drops the ball and the story became shit so the translator lost morale

This novel is getting less enjoyable: Slow pace + slow releases + short chapters.

 

So relatable. It happens me many times when I read new novel due to popularity or old novel and just when I caught upto latest chapter, either translator dissappear(monarch of evernight) or dropped the novel (crimson dragon) or translator start to release chapter at slow pace (spirit realm).

 

Well, please die Jin Ling'er. What a bitch.
