I just stream it. It's not worth the effort going to mp3 sites. Though if I'm broke I won't think twice before downloading some mp3's.
Yes because 3/4 of my songs are from anime/japanese and some are not available anymore anywhere else.
I think a lot of ppl still do since they like to be able to listen to their favorite music without ad or some bs.
Just a few that I like enough and think are obscure enough that I probably won't be able to find again if they are removed from where I listen to them. And like @S4TY4 said, they're great when the internet isn't working.
Same reason as above Yeah, I still keep them, both on PC, flashdisk & HP, 'coz streaming means I need to stay connected both to the 'net & power cable (^^i) Plus, some oldies are hard to find these days, either they were taken down (from youtube or the sites just gone) or just not available on stream
im considering starting again just cuz i keep losing so many songs in my playlists, both on youtube and spotify as songs just randomly seem to be taken down
A lot of the music I listen to are not in streaming site and when I'm home I prefer to just open my foobar to listen to lossless music with a high quality headphone and DAC I also have thousands and thousands of music so it just too annoying to change place right now, I think streaming is great when I'm outside on my phone because of how convenient they are but overall I still prefer to have the file in my hard drive, esp since sometimes internet is unreliable in third world country, tho I also have mp3 player just in case my phone dont have connection or im just broke edit: also streaming rely on the other party to keep the file up, one day they might be gone be it the song or the whole site, so I much prefer having the file since hard drive isn't that expensive and music doesn't take that much space
The blackout I had a month back reminds me again how I prefer to keep storing my FLACs. Just wait for the zombia apocalypse, you streamers won't have cool music to listen to as the zombies tear you to shreds!
I do. I mean, : 1. I'm cheap as fuck. Streaming do uses bandwidth (MUH PRECIOUS BANDWIDTH), and my phone doesn't really have an unlimited data on it. 2. Most of my tastes are reaaaallly random, so finding it on any single streaming service is kinda gambling.
I got a feeling all mp3,laptop, smartphone, or other devices won't last long in zombie apocalypse either.... That's why I listen to my favorite music until I get sick of them and could remember them for a life time.
