Do you ever feel old

think about it... a decade. quarter of a century... lived through 9/11, remember Micheal Jackson when he was black. The gameboy, seiken densetsu 3 and the amount of fan translating that went into that game and others like it. You can think about it being old or think about what yet to come. Do i feel old YEAP!... But do i ever wish i was younger Nope.

 

That boy doesn't even look like he went through puberty yet...

 

Tis true, but I'm part of the generation of assholes that make the music.

 

I think for me its because of how fast things move on the internet, new trends, new websites rise and fall so fast now I barely have time to keep up with half of it.

 

I was in college when the towers were hit... I was still in class when they did and only heard about it later that night... There was also a thing called MTV... When they actually did show music videos... Watched Moonwalker in theaters, actually I thought it was kinda badass at the time...

 

I want to live long enough to play realy VR games like in zl,lms etc
sometimes I just feel I was born too soon...

 

Just wish we had a catalog of all the translators throughout the years that retired and went on to professional careers just to pay homage to them ... from visual novels, games, and the old anime classics I can't even remember most of them.

You know your getting old when you get annoyed at people saying they're old because you're older.

 

1996 was 20 years ago, let that sink in.

 

Sigh, nearing the bad half (the second one) of thirty, I feel really old when I read about younger people talking about how old they feel ;op !
And yes, I still have the Atari 2600 that I played with as a kid, I sometimes show my old consoles or my homemade arcade emulation station (fully sanwa powered ;o) to the kids of my friends (who call my house the video game museum LOL), that make me feel old but quite glad too (especially when I pound them to the ground on great classic VS games (Street, Kof, bomberman, good old beat-them-all, frantic shooter games, etc..) after they flaunt their "gamer skillz" at FPS games or QTE snooze fest ;o) .

Ahh... 2600, what games did you have? I really enjoyed Joust from that console... I really wish I kept my 2600 and the other Atari series with the controller that had the joystick and number-pad, I only have my Nintendo still... there was another game I can't remember the name of that you flew in a grid and you could dock with a station and shoot things like a fighter simulator on that one...



nevermind I found it... Star Raiders... Use to play that alot...

 

I do feel old man. I remember discovering anime back when I was 15. Now I am 23 and can't believe that I am closer to 30 than to 15.Time is flying by so fast.

 

I feel old whenever I read school life novel when I graduated a week ago. Its so strange, now I feel awkward when reading about school life.

 

I feel old when i realize 2010 was 6 years ago >.> tho it feels like it wasnt that long ago
