Discussion Do you feel lucky for being born a decade early?

Have you ever thought that a competition among girls exists about getting the dude with the most money,looks, etc.?

And i am born a decade later so i only got to know the generation where women look down on anything that doesnt have enough bills

 

Arranged marriage still exist, I'm fine with the adoption route.

 

They put their dreams in the novel they write, don't know if it's good or bad.

Nah, I mean you need good networking and connections, otherwise you'll be stuck trying your luck at hundreds before you get any.

 

Having job experience is also a plus.

 

No girl asks you if you have a for a previous experience.
Or if you say experience makes you get the second girl then there is no need to even think, its more worthy to spend resources on the first girl itself and make her not leave you.

Dating can be seen like this, in the past women were traded or sold away for family benefits (sons too, after sending them to wars)
Now, we don't do this but they sell themselves for their own benefits.
The more you can get, the better you can feel about yourself, hence people aim high or dream of celebs. Insecurity plays a big role.

Well depends on whether your girl corp. likes to be treated right or to personally train her employee. Also formal interviews are not the way of true relationship building. They are boring and frustrating for both parties, and would be unwelcome if other opportunities exist. This is exactly why it's sad people need to go through arranged marriage and etc. It becomes a question of compromise for both parties and lowers the chances of a favorable impression being built up (through the natural interview process of human mating rituals).
