Do you imagine CN characters as anime or RL people?

I don't really picture it until a funny moment then it's troll face or the equivalent face for the joke

i can do it both ways. i have a great imagination so usually in my mind it all looks epic AF even when i imagine it in live action form. Though i usually prefer to think of it in anime or realistic drawing form since im more comfortable that way. surprisingly, the male characters are sometimes imagine like realistic drawings while the females are imagined in anime form. Maybe since they are described as peerless beauties and in my mind i think the only way a character can be without any imperfections is if they are anime characters.

 

LOL, yeah. But they tend to be into BL so the subject of most of their illustrations tend to be guys. I'm still looking for a good artist with a similar style that focuses on girls.

My imagination is weird.

I basically imagined Qin Yu from ST as a chubby faced Linley.

Also, every CN MC looks the same. Edward Elric hair style with a thin face and some muscle.

If i imagine CN chara as anime chara then smooth che will make dxd mc and any other harem mc feel inferior.

well most of the time I imagine funny moments or fight scenes~

 

the reason why we dont see CN adapted to Animes is because of the length, i mean the average CN novel is between 700-2000 chapters, now imagine that as a anime, it will take decades. on the other hand Japanese are fond over their Coward MC and most Animes nowdays are mostly Shounen or harems/Romance/Shoujo, Its really turning into a Kids/teens only, back in the 90s early 2000 they were alot of seinen and mature animes with actual plot and story, all i see now is a bunch of crap with so many plot holes but 13 years old wouldnt give a crap about plot holes all they want to see is fights and powers and the usual Harem, Personally i would love for I Shall seal the Heavens to be animated, but we all know its impossible unless some rich fan donates a few million $ for the project

 

i dont know why but i just imagine the cast of the chinese odyssey as different characters when reading chinese novels...

maybe its because i loved the movie when i was young
