    Nope. Pretty meh Its mostly popular since it helped setup the standard xianxia formula in Cn. Brought many common tropes along and mashes them together. Plus it was one of the earlier works when web novels were just starting to get popular
    Same here in the translated novel scene. It was just one of the first novels translated. Everything was "new and fresh" back then and had a decent release rate

    I liked it up to a certain point. Like all xianxias its all fastfood. Nothing fulfilling in it. Gave up 100 chapters in after realizing it really didnt have any imagination in it anymore.

    It was one of the first novels I started reading on gravitytales. I did enjoy it in the beginning but I lost interest around chapter 400+ I think~

    Edit: I dropped it at chapter 531.

    I’m enjoying the other novels by the writer more than BTTH.

    The story is good but fuck the explanation and unnecessary talk again and again if you reduce the annoying unnecessary things in this novel it will end in maximum 300 chapter

    As others mentioned: it was of the earlier translations with a stable release and the first 'arcs' been nice, but today I wouldn't necessarily read it again ... but I still root for Medusa!!!

    Best description of BTTH i've seen is "It feels like a chore to read" which sums it up pretty well.. and if it wasn't for Medusa + his master i would never have finished it.
