In hill only when its night time and sleeping time. Im not living in a hill now it belongs to a city a barangay.. we always lock our doors bcos this barangay was a squatters area(not really now) and its like robbers and so on ran here to escape the pursue of the police...its happenning like at least 1x a year... now..it lessen unlike before.
I lock the doors everytime. I gives me great anxiety to leave the doors unlock. I always thinking, what if... Blah...blah...blahh.. I mind won't be at ease with an unlocked door.
There was a serial killer back in the day that chose their victims based on whether their doors were unlocked. If unlocked then they assumed they were invited in like a vampire.
We live in a shabby house on top of a hill that is too steep for most cars to go up with nice fancy houses on either side so we never lock our doors(except for that one time there was a stabbing and the staber was seen going in our direction)
If you don't take the initiative to look after your stuff, don't blame people for taking them. There's a reason why locks were invented.
I would “Lock” my doors. It just became second nature. Besides it feels like I’m encouraging people to steal from by leaving the door open
Back when I was younger, my parents never locked the door because me and my brothers arrived home before them, but we had no keys. Nowadays I always lock the door though.
Compared to stealing, something happening to the people in the house is a lot more scary! Aki can't even imagine leaving the doors unlocked. In the place Aki lives, we even use grills on windows to prevent people from breaking in. It is not because of too many burglaries or anything but that is what everyone does and has been doing for as long as Aki can remember.
I don't care about the other doors around the house since it's the duty of the security guards and servants to take care of them. But I care to close my door not cause I'm afraid of thieves or anything, but cause the way I sleep won't be safe for others.
Always... I even lock my bedroom door. It's more for a sense of privacy than a sense of security tbh, though those are basically the same.
I live is a safe neighborhood but its not on a hill or anything, so we lock our doors at night or when we aren't home. Our front door is old and we can't replace it because the wood or door handle can't be replaced so it just locks on its own. We also have a gate on the driveway and a side gate, and those just lock when they close so they can't be unlocked from the outside (other than the remote for the gate), but our back door is usually always unlocked, and our dog uses this other door on the courtyard so thats usually unlocked during the day. But everything gets locked at night
I lock the front door and back door every time of the day . Before I sleep I make sure every door is locked . But bedroom doors like that I don’t usually lock them . I keep them open most of the time. I live in a pretty safe neighborhood , it’s mostly just filled with old people living out there lives . But I still lock my doors .
I lock the door, bar the windows, secure the gate, and be friendly with the housing complex security and bribe them with snacks and pocket moneys to make sure that they pay an extra attention to my house Extra protection wouldn't hurt anyone
Besides locking the doors i lock other entry too I am my family's security head and bodyguard so condolence to whoever is brave enough to break in or even step a foot inside the gate
