Notice that all the novels i come across have at least 100k+ or 1mil( according to qi). don't see numbers anywhere close to this on sites like Royalroad or fanfic. Would this mean that qidian is the best place for writers if we're purely talking about exposure?

Inflated numbers, just like their country. Nothing new about it.

I believe the saying goes, "a fool and his money are soon parted". Sure you get exposure, but you probably don't own it anymore either.

Are those total like everytime someone refreshes a page it adds one check cause if that's the cause wuxiaworld would probably have them beat with the old f5 sect stuff they had for awhile.

Judging by the 'look ahead' voting amounts, there should be around 1.5 million votes votes cast each week. that means there are 500,000 logins a week, and therefore around 70,000 people who visit the site each day.

What are you talking about? Powerstone votes? You can vote 3x per day and in some cases 5x per day if you get a bonus.

As for exposure goes, Webnovel has the largest probably, BUT that doesn't mean you get the most exposure. Because there is a difference in featuring each site has.

Well, they could inflate their views artificially. Also, they promote their products well, if they're popular enough.

Lastly, you can see the ingenious technique, their brand name "Webnovel". With a quickhelp of SEOs, poor fresh lamb meats that came wattpad, won't know what webnovel truly is(unless they search a bit more) , since the first thing they find in search results is QI(Webnovel). There may be an inflation in number count, but if there is, it isn't that exaggerated.

I think they have million view probably because when we/user read new chapter it will refresh all chapter
    Example :
So you read 30 chapter = you read chapter 1 until 30x, chapter 2x30, chapter 3x30 etc
    This is just my theory

IMO they're the largest if they aren't yet it's only because they haven't bought over some of the other big ones but qidian has slowly been buying up big translation sites recently so to me it's inevitable for them to become dominant especially since they're a full-fledged company with full rights and a lot of cash compared to a mid-large sized translation site that can't even guarantee they'll be able to hold the rights to translate any work.

They have ads popping out everywhere. I've seen a bunch in YouTube so i guess even normal people who are not familiar with other sites will visit webnovel sooner or later.

Qidian readers are like fake tits. Nice to look at, but pretty useless and horrid as they grow more

It's hard to say. I don't think so, but the combination of translation site and original platform will help them attract some attention to originals. Similar to NU advertising ScribbleHub. Regardless, it's definitely not worth signing with them. Even if they have a bigger pool of readers, it's not big enough to justify agreeing to anything they want.

For original writers? They are nowhere close, Wattpad and other fanfic sites has everyone beat hands down, BUT QI has a more in-depth monetization system. For translations, WW is first and ranked around 1200 in the top worldwide sites, QI is second and ranked around 4000. So they are in a decent position, depends on what you are looking for.

imo sooner or later they'll be the biggest since they have the largest number of novels

not to mention that they also own most of the translated novels so sooner or later, qi will dmca them or make them translate on WN...

they're also getting KR novels too sooooooooooo

Right now, probably WW. I think WW has more approach globally due to being early and the story of the young boy surviving addiction. I think QI may overtake them sooner or later due to a large pool of novels both translated and untranslated. the big company behind them can easily provide resources and advertisement.
