The hints are very ambiguous. They could really just be friends or actual lovers. The CEO of Excellent Era teases Ye Xiu about having more pretty girls around me. He tells him that Su Mucheng will get pissed. Ye Xiu and Su Mucheng also goes out to eat an ice cream at a place they go to only with each other.

The author adds a bunch of romancey scenes now and then but then trolls us and ends the novel with him not getting with anyone.

tl;dr romance but ye xiu doesn't actually get together with anyone

 

although Mucheng got some feelings for him, but i don't think he noticed that yet, so i'm not sure if they will get hooked but might happen in future, who knows !! (only author knows)

There is almost no description of love from Ye Qiu's side. Actually, he's in love with the game, but he's not in love or even has a small physical attraction with any female characters in the most current chapter I'm on, which is chapter 504.

However, he does deeply care about Mucheng. Anytime that he is free from the game he spends with Mucheng while the other team members go shopping or some shit. He also only got angry once in the story and that is because of Mucheng.

I have only read a few chapters in the Manga version and there's already a few adorable female characters. I also didn't understand the first page with the girl.. i don't understand. If it doesn't have romance why make it so misleading ^.^. So does it have it or not?
