Spoiler Does the mc of wmw ever become a branded swordsman?

Hey, peeps! As the title said, I am just looking for a little spoiler. I'm on chapter 131 of wmw and amd wondering if he ever becomes a branded swordsman in any of the current translated chapters, and if not, could anyone who's read ahead tell me when, if ever, he does?

I've only read up to the translation. But it doesn't really seem like becoming a branded swordsman is his goal. He became a warlock which is a subclass of magicians, and I'm pretty sure that's better than a branded swordsman.

 

He doesn't, as the path doesn't lead anywhere significant for males.

 

Thanks man. By this point I'm on chapter 250 and I kinda see that his path is more different compared to the norm than what I thought. thanks for replying though! =D

 

He does a lot of research though into branded swordsman. He later obtains a weapon which had the branding pattern and forges copies for research. I am guessing he needs swordsman subordinates.
