    Does the ML abandon the MC at some point in the story - the "You finally returned, before I aged too much alone." seems to point in that direction?

    I don't read this novel. But I hear from shushengbar that the ML and MC broke up in the middle (maybe because some misunderstanding)

    It's the MC who left the ML and they reunited again! I really like her as she is a simple honest n ambitious gal...n she did leave him which I think she made the right choice..wish she could have made our Lin brother wait more haha!

    Can I ask what caused her to leave him?

    I read on shushengbar that it had something to do with another woman. Were they already in a relationship?

    Hi,
    What happened between the ML and Serena? Did he cheat on her? :/ Why did the MC say that she understood his decision? Btw, this is all just from the summary in the blog Sharlnina provided. I haven't read the story yet, I just wanted to know if there would be too much angst before I start the novel :blobdizzy: I've only read Ding Mo's crime investigation series which were sweet :blobicecreamlove:

    The FL left the ML because she caught the ML kissing another woman well u can read the whole of it for as far as I remember the translator had translated up to the chapter before the FL left the ML and after what happens u can MTL it cause the translator drop the novel due to permission not yet granted by the author.
