Yea, I think that the ML was just possessive of LQZ in the original novel as she was his fiance so in order to save face, he went after her when she ran away and maybe in the during the chase LQZ managed to seduce the ML and they did the deed and we all know that the ML was a VIRGIN. Maybe after doing the deed with LQZ, he became addicted. Hahaha XD well now, she is free to experience all the men that like her.
