I usually play dead on day 1 since I'm not good at intuitively assessing players or instigating something though that might may be the reason I rarely live till day 2 ^^;

I usually become more active in day 2 and onwards though.

I had no specific agenda on that front just wanted to see if it worked. usually you can't vote for yourself in zone games (?) iirc.

or am I mis remembering? I wanted to know if it was the same. s'all.

Aww D1 is my favorite tbh.
There's the excitement of a new game, new people, you can chill for a bit at the beginning, and you're solving from a completely blank slate, which is kinda exciting.

 

*putting everything voting-related aside

maybe check past games I doubt there isn't a precedent

 

so have you formed any opinions with that new knowledge?

 

The blank slate is what intimidates me, in detective movies they don't usually just present characters as stranger 1, stranger 2, etc... there's always some sort of template to draw out from. I suffer from analysis paralysis when presented with no information whatsoever though I'm trying to improve on that at the moment.

 

That's why we try to make people talk and interact to generate information. Entrance posts can be telling too.

 

That is, assuming they have read their role PMs and understand it. Playing with new players who are unfamiliar with mafia can be challenging in that some common tells are not applicable if they are confused or not sure what they are supposed to be doing but hopefully the guide will be helpful

 

In case of ties, the bot will lynch someone randomly out of everyone.

I don't know why I had the expectation that it would be a normal random-within-tie

 

I would say give it 24hrs since we all might be in different time zones but justabot games only have 24hrs in a day

 

I thought so too but I looked up a previous game just to be certain. The killed player wasn't in the tie so everyone get;s a chance to participate in the random lynch.
