So i was gonna start reading it so... How should i start ? First of all original Douluo Dalu? Then? Douluon Dlau 2 or Unravaled Tang Sect? After that? And whats with the tag on UTS on NovelUpdate it says Gender Bender? xD Tnx
Read the original Douluo Dalu it's, in my opinion, the most awesome =D, Sorry I don't know anything about the GB.
UTS there's someone doing just that. Not gonna say who. Reading order would be DD > DD2 (Unrivaled Tang Sect) > DD2.5 (Land of the gods iirc) > DD3 (Legend of the Dragon King) Although reading order doesn't matter that much, sequels (Besides possibly 2.5) won't spoil the others since they only mention their grand achievements.
You don’t have to read DD1 to understand DD2. At most, reading DD1 will allow you to understand some inside information or ‘mystery.’ Spoiler: Spoilers For DD2 The best friend of the MC, Wang Dong, is actually a girl. She’s the daughter of DD1 MC, Tang San and Xiao Wu.
I'm reading all 3 since like i said, besides mentioning the grand achievements of previous protagonist and how they changed the world its pretty much their own self story. At best read DD until around half or a bit more since it pretty much a major point in all series (Besides 2.5) being Shrek academy and Tang Sect.
just go in 1,2 and 3 order.I have done so in same order cause when reading 2 if or any reference of 1 bugs me.To have a peace of mind follow the order.
I’m only reading Douluo Dalu and the legend of the dragon king. The other one doesn’t seem to interest me. But yeah you should read in 1, 2, 3 order if you want to get the whole story. They mention characters from one novel in the other novels. So read them in order to get the references~
Kinda related, but not really, why is Tang San's daughter a kid in DD2 but his son is a kid in DD3? Doesn't that mean that there's like thousands of years in age difference? Also, I thought DD2 was like thousands of years later than DD1 as well... So it always kinda confused me how Tang San's kids could just randomly show up... (Unlike other people who are simply descendants of the "Shrek Seven Devils".)
DD2 takes place 10000 years later. Characters and places from DD are mentioned, but you can definitely read it as a stand alone with some relatively minor spoilers in where characters end up. DD3 is 10000 years after DD2. I'm reading all three as they update and don't feel out of the loop because all three novels explain core necessary concepts you need to understand. They don't require you to have read the prior entries in order to appreciate the story.
Oh im ch 2 and sice i read the wiki for the ranks i also saw Tang San has 2 Spirits... When does he aweken his 2nd one? Tnx Juat read ch 3 title ... Is it on ch 3?
He has always had his spirit but had to hide it. However, he fully awaken his 2nd spirit closer to the end of the novel. He did it as part of his test in the trial to be the new Sea God.
