Question Douluo Dalu?

Just a simple question, what is the best way to read Douluo Dalu franchise? I've finished the first book and now im honestly confused on which book to read. Please Help. Also instead of straight reading Duoluo Dalu, should I mix some of his other books into a reading order?

 

The best I can say is read them sequentially. You know 1, 2, 2.5, 3.
I think 1 is the only one that is finished

 

Tang sect, Legend of divine realm, legend of dragon king. In that order.

 

I'd say: DD1 DD2 - Gods Realm - DD3

 

Well, RIP then lol wish they were all completed, though isn't "The Legend of The Dragon King" Currently being translated. Well I guess I might MTL to finish them lol

 

sadly god realm 1 was dropped. They were almost done i think.

 

DD2 is like 600 chapters in

DD3 is 700+ chapters in.

They are longer than the first one, but it is worth starting DD2. If you've read the first, the second is better, and the third lags behind the first a bit.

 

Are they longer in chapter numbers and also words per chapter? I only read the first DD since it was my first chinese novel, I'm waiting for the second book to be completed right now

I could swear it is going on, but I could be wrong, my backlog is huge and I'm not paying attention to its status

 

Honestly I read all 3 as they began to be translated and didn't feel like I was missing anything. By the time 2 started getting translated it was obvious how 1 was going to end up so I didn't really feel "spoiled". 3 had a bit more spoilers but didn't make me enjoy 2 any less.

Webnovel has the legend of the dragon king, again at around 10-14 chapters a week.

Yes. DD3 is almost finished writing and like all DD series DD4 will take place 10,000years later and DD4 will center around Tang Wulin son. Honestly
I wish the author can just give the Tang family a break. It is just a rumor not yet confirm but DD3 ends with tang Wulin and his wife dead.

Though, Douluo Dalu mainly focuses on the tang sect in general, so i dont believe he's ever going to use a different mc tbh
