I mean, you gotta remember that there are at least 1,000 other summoned all over the Continent. Probably not all of them are combat oriented, and thus can focus on stuff like inventing modern stuff. I do like that fact about the novel too though.
I can't remember the book I read this from, but it's HARD to reinvent modern technology. Think about something simple, like paper making. Just knowing to not boil the pulp is important. How to make bleaching agents, how to create sizing, making ink, and if you want to invent printing, just the composition of the alloys used by Gutenberg become critical. If you want to introduce ONE modern invention, you have to invent dozens, maybe hundreds of supporting inventions to get gunpowder, to get paper, to get whatever you want. Those thousands of strangers are BUSY. The best cheat type novels, like S.M. Stirling's the General series, has just a few innovations. Weber's Safehold is just a mutant series.
You know a few years back I readed a WB The tales of Paul Twister, where the Mc had the same problem, he knew hw things should work but have no idea on how to build them from the ground up, so his solution was create a fake delusional persona that sometimes came up with the concept and bringued the smart people of the time to work out how to make it posible. By the way its really funny to think he got an oldie Draken instead of the young stud he wanted HAHAHAHAHAHAh.
For some reason, since he could sort of talk with dragons and dragonkin maybe Suhyuk could make his own dragon regiment?
The question is more how many people do really know how the things are working? I mean I doubt there are a lot of people that know to create a paper or decent modern boots.
I though of such a posibility as well, the Drake coprs or Dragon Corps, of course thats considering there are more Dragons and their subspecies around.
I think not, he should get tons of free time to hunt big monsters, with the other riders. Everybody levels up, the drake gets its food, and the number of monsters decreases.
You do realize that the Mc is just really sooooooo weak rn, no? With one advance knight from the enemy before he already have a hard time dealing with it, then imagine the kingdom with a whole regiment of advance knights and mages, plus unique classes too.

I also think that eventually he will need to make his own country, but he is still a newbie to that place, he didn't even understood how the common populace of that world lived till he traveled with Hansen, he is still to fresh to consider that posibility, no, what he should do is raise in the Army and increase his gains to move in the politicall scene, gain some military force and only then, can he actually consider having his own territory.
We're roughly a tenth into the story (with all the obligatory info dump and small-scale levelling-up) and building his own kingdom, as well as fighting others should (if at all) be closer to the climax of the story. Maybe a bit earlier if there are other continents, worlds introduced ... or he just levels up until he is OP and tells the monarchs "Bow to me or die!" while his dragon licks its lips in anticipation of some <roasted kings>.
