My mum yelled at me for choosing a white desk(apparently bad luck/fenshui or something). Then it spiraled into finding a job and getting married and being a useless kid. what about you guys?
I was forced to sit in a religious building and hear people talk about religion as part of my faith my foot fell asleep and when we had to leave and I got up I almost crashed into one of the people not my fault they didn’t let me move at all for 2 hours
Who buys a white desk? Forget the superstition, they stain and get dirty quite quickly. As for what dumb things I get screamed at? Who knows? I don't remember... I do too much dumb things and all the yelling goes in 1 ear and out the other :/
Haha, how do you tolerate it? My mum literally won’t stop and can continue for 2 weeks no problem Y on time? You don’t make your own food?
I always get yelled at for asking questions whose answers I should already know, that's not the problem, the problem is that they they never end up telling me the answer, so when the time comes that I actually need to know about it I end up getting yelled at again because they refused to tell me when I previously asked. Example, going somewhere like a wedding. I ask when are we leaving for the wedding, they get pissed that I am asking such a dumb question, they never end up telling me, then during the day of the wedding I end up oversleeping and not being prepared at all by the time we have to go. Then they get extra pissed at me. (Then I end up getting ready before everyone else because I only need to wear a shirt and a pant while the rest of my family seem to be gearing up for war.)
I once had a chemistry class where the instructor gave explicit instructions on how to navigate our lab stations. I followed those directions, only to be promptly accused and yelled at by the instructor for "not following directions." I was swiftly served a detention when I rebutted him that I had followed directions. My classmates who witnessed me follow directions perfectly never bothered to defend me, but they did tell me later that the teacher was in the wrong (gee guys, could have said something to help me, you know?). BTW, this was a well-respected teacher who, at the time I took his class, had 29 years of experience. You'd think he know to listen to a student's story and/or de-escalate.
The answer is don't argue, just agree. Agree to everything. Worry about what you said "ok" to or "I will" when the time comes.
I would, they're usually pretty and generally fit well basically anywhere~ Just gotta clean it regularly, no biggie~ *hugs* Comrade!
That just sound like bad planning, they probably didn’t have the answer ready Was there other student not following directions? Or did you have a reputation for not following? I guess the teacher had a ego problem that day. So how’s the condition of the desk? Is it dirtied?
I literally followed what everyone else in the class did. Monkey see, monkey do. If 20 people before me did the same thing I was doing, why didn't they get in trouble? To this day, I don't understand how he could have thought I did something wrong. I've always had a flawless record without any disciplinary infractions. That detention remains the one and only action taken against me.
Using my left hand. A senior who was supposed to instruct me on my first day of work insisted that when you did pipetting, you had to hold it in a certain manner and stance. Problem is that I'm left handed so there is absolutely no way following her actions will turn out well for me.
I just came back home from university (been there for almost 5 months) and when I wanna talk to my mom about my experience there, she yelled at me for being annoying. I never chit-chat with my mom again after that. Heck I never talk to my mom about my friends, colleagues or anything after that
My mother yelled at me for brushing my teeth on the sink.............. Because it's DIRTY. Bruh my mouth is REALLY dirty huh. i must fit a whole septic tank of bacteria in my mouth huh
Wasn't really yelling but I guess you could say I was jokingly told off? When I was younger in school, my friend wore a really soft, fluffy-looking jacket that was too irresistible not to touch. As I was touching her jacket my teacher stopped the lesson, called out my name, and said "Stop petting [insert friend's name]" I'm not sure if she didn't find the right wording to correct me on my behavior or if she was just making a joke but either way this is a memory that is engraved in my mind.
