RainbowTurtle thank you for translating Although the chapters before the author got sick had a lot of foreshadow, back story and kept a great pace and tone throughout the novel. I can see that this was ultimately the direction that the author wanted the novel to end in. the loose ends could be surmised as points that wouldn't matter to the plot and could be seen as wish fulfillment. He wanted Yihis death and place in his life to have more meaning as without Yihi, even though he could sit on the throne. he would never be able to laugh on the throne ( which didn't matter as he made one of wood) without the one who was with him from the start and stuck it through with him till the end in both timelines. She was his rose/ flower (little prince analogy) he never forgot to get her gifts and she surprised him and no matter how bad things got Yihi never left his side. In all the epicness may have been paced down but the core message made it through to the final story What have you taken away from this novel after reading it?
This novel have Protgonist strong from the start and strong to stronger tags.. Just want to ask how strong is the MC at the start? Like does he have end game powers at the start, just stronger than his peers but still can be defeated by boss class monsters, or something?
The 'message/moral' is just the usual cliché. "True happiness comes from the people around you" He finally got what he wanted, but wasn't happy due to his number one comrade not being there. Very good ending (not the boss fight, literally just like the last 3 paragraphs), however the message wasn't anything unique
The novel starts with the premise that 72 demons descended on earth, and four of them are grand dukes with each controlling 17 demons. In the beggining he is as strong as a grand duke
No he start as strong demon but he quite weak slightly below a duke, he has avantage of knowing the general flow of time and events so he make use or it to optimize his gathering of points and achievements to booster himself to grand dukes level as that his 1st target on the road to become the demon king.
I have to say that while I enjoyed the first half or so of the novel more when it was mostly about actually developing his own dungeon and helping the humans to undermine the other dungeon masters, at least this novel had an actual ending at all. And while the novel was rushed to the point of the ending, the ending itself wasn't actually bad. It did it's job as a conclusive ending. I can't say that for some other novels I've read, e.g. Coiling Dragon or Stellar Transformations...
i kinda dissapointed with the rushed part. some parts didnt make sense, and make want to vomit blood. but the ending although rushed like hell, it was as expected. so everything is good for the author and hopefully he didnt get to much of a backlash. also i wish turtle can rush lms just like dungeon hunter. like just end our missery by finnish the rest of the chapter by newyear. it will be the best christmas + newyear gift i can expect this year
he maybe if there was a level 200 cap the protagonist is about level 50, the other major demons 75-100 and the end game boss is 500 cuz reasons.... humans are at 1-10 at the beginning... can't remember what it really was and too lazy to check so this is just a ballpark estimate.... its not that easy to put it into quantitative values without using the same scale as the novel itself which is stat points
Yes one of their favourite scenarios but I think what they love the most are dungeons as almost every Korean novel is dungeon related so dungeons are number 1 and apocalypse number 2 and then vr games number 3
That feeling when you can't resist a spoiler thread and read them spoilers D: cri. I can only blame myself.
I meant about the "rushed ending" thing. Mentions were done about the author being hospitalized, so I wanted to know if it was severe and he rushed things so as to not leave it unfinished.
