Hello, I'm Serractica. I'm a former Chinese translator, stopping about a month ago. I'd like to get back in the business, and I'm looking to be recruited as either an editor, proofreader, quality-checker, or all three at once. The series that I have translated are the following as a crude résumé, in order by date (the last ones are the most recent) Note: I went by the username of BlackDay until 2-3 months ago Eden Game, ch 3- present (I have like 39 chapters of this translated so I'm just waiting for the scans team to crunch through) The Taming of the Yandere, all- present What's Wrong with Liking My Busty Adopted Daughter, all- present Common Sense of a Duke's Daughter, ch 86-92 I have a moderate amount of experience in editing. Ever since I started translating, I have been editing my own chapters. I have tried many times to find a decent editor, but I was never able to find one, either the reason being a) the person's English proficiency was below mine, or b) the person was just terrible at finding mistakes. If I am recruited and assigned to a Chinese novel, the employer can have the option of putting me in either of the roles I listed above, or just have me cover all bases except translating. I'm fine both ways. Income is negotiable. I can work with up to a maximum of 3 chapters per week, at the very most 2000 words per chapter. Thank you, and please consider, -Serractica
Because of some unforeseen circumstances, I'm back looking for work. Feel free to hit me up with a PM~!
