A story where the protagonist can only use one element eg Ice Magic. I don't mind if it's an original from Royalroad or scribblehub but having a protagonist use all elements is boring and annoying. As long as it's not loli or some rape fetish story then I will read it. Thanks in advance
It's hard to consider that a magical story. It is more science. Making magic boring by explaining every single thing with science. Felt more like a thesis than a novel Thanks anyway
Chrysalis (MC use multiple magic types but mainly for unlocking the skills needed to properly utilize gravity mana, tho there is stil use of one other kind of mana regularly for communication) RoyalRoad The Hero's Supplier (MC only use fire magic (might also learn to use other kinds of magic)) Scribblehub Isekai ni Kita Boku wa Kiyoubinbode Subaya-sa Tayorina Tabi o Suru (Two types Water and Ice (i know there's one more than you wanted, but they are closly related so why not?)) NU She Professed Herself The Pupil Of The Wiseman (LN) (Can only remember MC using summoning magic) NU I wish i could say Death Mage but then i remembered that he can also use No-atribute magic
In Legend if I am not mistake MC has only one fire magic is just that his mana pool is stupidely big.
Check https://www.novelupdates.com/series/invisible-dragon/ Mc has the Destruction element, so he destroys everything...Everything.
Not a perfect fit, but He Who Fights With Monsters has a system where people power up with up to 4 Magical "Essences" (you choose 3 and the 4th typically comes from a combination of those 3), and develop up to 5 Magical Skills or Abilities from those sources. Those Essences can be practically anything from "Fire", "Strength", "Magic", "Trap", "Duck", "Potent", and more, but you only get 4. MC's end up being Shadow, Blood & Sin, which created Doom, developing his skills into a Affliction Specialist with Scouting Abilities. As such, he's not going to be throwing lightning bolts or freezing the land without outside assistance.
