On floor 18 you find a fake treasure. You search a bit around the gold coins and jewelry there, but everything you touch turns to dust. At one point you touch a small part of clothing you had and it too starts turning into dust. Scared, you run back in the elevator and press on the number 19
Half naked, you step into floor 19 and found yourself buried in snow. You want to go back to the elevator but apparently can't open because of the snow. You frantically searched for something to use to dig the snow. You walked for a little while and saw a cabin. You went inside and felt that the place and you were ecstatic because you found winter clothes and shovel and winter equipment. You looked around and found the place familiar. Suddenly, Anna from Frozen walks in from the door. You found yourself watching a live scene from the movie. The charcters didn't notice you even until they left. You desperately bought clothing and shovel using gold from who knows where(might be from floor 17) and went back to the elevator. You want to leave this place fast because it's too cold. After shoveling the snow, you went into the elevator and pressed 20. [Whoa, I wrote it too long.]
Walking into the 20th floor, you find a scene of the past. You see your ten years younger self and wonder if you went back in time. Having decided to stay here for a while longer, you don't notice some of your hair started growing white. Next morning you find yourself to seem a bit older. Walking towards the mirror, you find a few strands of white hair. Scared of what might happen if you stay here any longer, you dash to the elevator and press 21.
Entering the 21st floor, you find yourself inside a beauty salon. As your gender is unknown, you don't dare to order services that are too feminine or too masculine. You decided to dye your white hair to gradient blue. You wanted to return to that youthful feeling so you went to one of the services that the staff recommended to you. You slowly fell asleep because of the relaxation you felt. When you woke up, you saw that the world seems bigger. You found yourself turned into a 13 year old kid. Wary that you'll turn into a baby if you stay longer, you tiptoed to the elevator while the staff is busy with other things. Finally inside the elevator, you hurriedly pressed 22.
On the 22nd floor you found a cat with tentacles, after playing together for a few years, you get tired of being tentacle raped, so you go back to the elevator and press the 23.
The elevator door opens. Its dark. The only source of light coming from a TV showing nothing but static at the end of a long empty hallway straight ahead. The static on the TV starts crackle to the sound of a child's laughter. The buttons on the elevator aren't working. *ding!* You look at the TV. There's... a teletubbie in it staring at you. Its hand sticking out of the TV is holding a tray containing a glowing stone. Taking a deep breath, you run towards the TV, pick up the stone and run back towards the elevator. The childish laughter morphs into wailing. There is the sound of glass breaking. Entering the elevator, you spam the close button ignoring the outside. Thankfully it works. You hear the sound of something banging the doors from outside. You press 24.
After so many scary floors encountered, you learned how to be cautious of the next floor. When the elecator opens to floor 24. You have your hands covering your eyes. You heard some rustling right ahead so you decided to peek through your fingers. What you saw shocked you to the core, but not in a frightening way. Right in front of you, you saw two people doing something so shocking that you gasped. Hearing you gasp, both of them turned to look at you. Embarassed and feeling ashamed, you instinctively pressed close. When the elevator closed, you realized what you did. You want to open the elevator to see that wonderful sight again but the door doesn't open anymore. Left with no other choice, you pressed on number 25. [I love this game!]
Feeling regretful about the last floor, you rush out onto the next one. ...but all you see are walls. Turning around you find the elevator replaced with a dead end. You walk on, maneuvering through the never-ending corridors. There's an opening in the wall ahead. Peeking in you see rows and rows of penguins dancing, encircling a pedestal within. Stepping inside, the penguins all froze to stare at you. They opened a path to the pedestal. Reaching it, you see a neon pink fish atop. Feeling lost, you stare blankly at the fish. Suddenly the fish flops up high, reaching eye level. It twists it's body, giving you a view of the beautiful arc it makes before making contact with your face. You wake up in the elevator. Was that a dream? But no, you notice you now have neon pink painted nails...... Let's press 26.
Entering the 26th floor, you found yourself in the middle of the most terrible hell in your life... School. Everything from north to south, from east to west is the same scene as the one in your memories. You looked at your hands and saw that it looks smaller and softer(while trying to ignore the blinding color of neon pink on your nails). You turned around to go back to the elevator but suddenly found yourself inside the classroom. With no choice, you have to relive your school life. You stayed in that place for 3 months until one day, you were hurrying back to the room(for reasons unknown) and found yourself inside the elevator. You became dazed for a while until you sighed reluctantly. You actually missed your school life. Expecting for more wonderful things, you pressed 27.
entering the 27th floor, you find yourself at the end of a long winding queue that stretches all the way off into the distance. in front of your you find other people patiently waiting as the line shuffle forward every few minutes. not wanting to cause a fuss, you go with the flow and wait in line. after what might of been a eternity you finally reach the front of the line, and in front of you a door that seemed familiar, it was the door to the elevator. begrudgingly you walk in and hit the button for floor 28. the thoughts in your head as you do are a mystery
On the 28th floor, there's a spotlight shining on a grand piano in the middle of a stage. A cat walks into the spotlight. It jumps on the piano keys, dancing as if possessed. A familiar tune resounds throughout the room. Its playing the flight of the bumblebee. Entranced, you watch this amazing performance. The song ends. You feel moved to tears to have a chance to witness this miracle. The cat gets off the stage and walks towards you. Frozen in awe, you stutter and stumble through ers and uhs trying to say some words to the cat. It enters the elevator, presses 29 and jumps out. The cat looks back: "You can tune a piano, but you can't tuna fish." The elevator door closes.
You suddenly felt your consciousness went dark and woke up in the dark. Suddenly a door opens and you found yourself in the body of a cat. Feeling helpless with the weird things happening to you in this place, you entered the 29th floor. You found yourself in front of your home. You thought that the elevator of awesomeness is done. You wanted to shout out in happiness but the sound that came out is a "meeeeeooooowwww!" Finding yourself still in the body of a cat, you feel horrified. The thought of living as a cat for the rest of your life scares you. The door of your home opens and found "yourself" come out. You followed "yourself". The person that looks like you noticed you and thought you were cute. "You" brought you(cat) home and washed you. You became your own pet! You feel dizzy and suddenly you are in your own body. You looked at the cat at your lap and saw it sleeping. You decided to make it your pet as it is a very good pianist, too. You went out to find your friends when suddenly a familiar door opens by your side and sucked you in. You are in the familiar elevator room and realized that it didn't end yet. You begrudgingly pressed 30.
you find yourself face to face with a sphinx, laying in the middle of the room, ancient stone carvings around you both. it's eyes filled with wisdom as its eyes seem to pierce your very soul. in a low voice it spoke. "if you answer this question correctly, you may continue on your way, if you fail...." it angled its head, midway, giving you a stare that seemed to probe through your entire being. ".... i will eat you" finishing, a red glint appeared within it's eyes, and you sense blood lust, and a hidden kind of savagery. reminding you of the beast that was what laid before you. you gulp, feeling your mouth becoming dry, nervously awaiting the question. "what has 4 legs in the mourning, 2 in afternoon, 3 in the evening?" it looked at you, a bemused face, awaiting your answer, a bewitching smile on its tender lips, showing off white teeth, and the jagged tips of them. a moment of silence, but finally a response. "a demon" you say with determination, as there could be noting else. "a demon?" a cold sheen glazed across its eyes, as in a instant you see its face right up against yours, the massive body of the sphinx pressed against you, the weight and intense heat coming from it. you being to sweat maybe due to the massive amount of fur, or the intimating glare of the sphinx. but you hold your gaze, staring into those piercing eyes "your wrong, but before you face it's pentaly, why don't you tell me how you came to such conclusion?" it towered over you, a ruler's prestige emitting from it. "It's not wrong, only a demon could have such a strange growth cycle" it looked at you, examining you, your face, its structure, any and all movement as you explained your reasoning. firmly believing in your answer. "oh? are there demons like that that exist from where you come from?" its eyes, curious "not that I know of, no, but the world is vast, housing a host of different creatures and many thing have changed within the little that is of the known world, the writing craved on top of the stone surround us, its been millennia since they were used." it began backing away, seeming dazed as it mulled over this information. before turning to you, giving you another smile, this time one more gentler. "it seems I been here to long, for the world to have undergone such a massive change. it seems I need to be go back into with the outside world, to verify a few things" It entered the elevator and with a clear ding, of the bell, the doors closed and the sphinx with it. and after a while, it returned, the elevator empty. you go in and continue your journey up, pressing the button for floor 31
This time, you find yourself in the body of the sphinx. You became disgruntled and asked the world why do those weird creatures like going inside the elevator before you. Even if you entered too, it didn't work. With the experience of being in another four-legged animal you entered a place full of sand. You turned around and wanted to come back to the elevator in a hurry but the elevator was already buried in sand. You thought that surely the elevator is the safest place even though it brings you to the most dangerous places. You began to walk around and wished to find an oasis. You went walking for a long time. A long loooooong time... Night came and you fell asleep. When you woke up, you found yourself being bowed on. It seems they thought of you as a God now. In order to have the dignity of a sphinx, you copied how the sphinx talked. You watched the most prosperous era of Egypt. It came to a time where the people offered you something weird that they found in the desert and surprisingly, it was the elevator! They can "Awesome!", you thought and ran to the elevator. You wanted to come inside it before anyone or else you will find yourself in another identity. You were about to enter when you thought for a bit. If someone else comes in, wouldn't you get the body of that person. You don't want to always stay on fours so you went to the pharaoh bowing nearby and throws him to the elevator. He seems not to know what to do so you told him to press the number. He pressed it and the doors closed. The elevator opened again so you went in too and pressed 32.
