Let's get real, all xianxia and wuxia novels gets pretty repetitive at one point in time. Hell, emperor domination has been repeating the same trope over and over again. What's so good about it is that the world building is great, characters stays relevant, also the shear pleasure of waiting for the face slap and finally getting it also the main character ain't a hypocrite who hides when in trouble or gets saves by some deus ex machina because he is the deus ex machina.
It's not even repetitive. It's just filler-y now, having become a journey to test your Dao Heart. If you left it at where you did, that is the Spoiler New Epoch , just wait for it to end in some 100 years and read the summary for the ending.

I got up to 3300 where the "reset" happened. I am also giving up. It was one of my first novel i read. I enjoyed it a tonne back in the 9 worlds and even 13 continent days.
Yes, it's a real shame. I think that the buddhist plateau arc was by far my favorite arc in all cultivation novel that i've read, so fucking good.
I dropped the novel around 2.5k chapters, but from what I've heard, it turns into an even worse garbage as the beat young master, beat angry elder, beat clan ancestor, beat clan plot armor treasure garbage happens again.
