I see fried Squid soon ... and man the new girl seems very happy go lucky, no sense of shame and seems like a lot of fun. It also seems like other then taking her top to use the silver sword nothing else was done (honestly it was a good/ bad place to go very dark there but no mention so I guess it stayed on the cleaner side of dark)

 

To be fair, pretty much every important character so far was female. Most of the guys met so far are enemies.

If I were the siren's queen, I would be quite upset right now. Not only did they not even try to summon the spirit king as they had promised, not kill the kraken, but they also cost the kingdom one of its most powerful weapons. I'd definitely be trying to figure out a politically acceptable way to demand the return of all the items that were given for use in the summoning that didn't wind up being used.

 

It depends on whether they can sense that the calamity spear was more dangerous than the spirit kings summoning. If they cant tell that, then yeah they should be angry at the couple for going against the plan
