Good day to ya'll loveable basturds. Can ya'll recommend me a novel where it has an entertaining MC. An MC who actually has a personality throughout the story, or at least during a good chunk of the story, not just some machine who only shows interesting reactions during breakthroughs or dire circumstances. Here's some examples to make myself clearer (no actual spoilers): Spoiler: A Will Eternal We got a hella entertaining mc here, he's the boisterous and somewhat obnoxious protagonist that makes us want to beat him up and laugh at him at the same time. Spoiler: I Shall Seal the Heavens The man, the legend, the greedy bastard, MENG HAO. Greedy donkey's ass. Nuff said. Spoiler: Ze Tian Ji The MC in this novel may not be as entertaining as the previous protagonists, but he has a very special personality that seperates him from the rest. He's a genuinely nice and gentle person, and unlike a lot of protagonist who only has this 'goodness' on the early chapters, he maintained his for the most part of the novel. Spoiler: Reverend Insanity The MC who everybody loves and hates, the cunning and conniving prick. Being evil isn't really a personality, it's more of an alignment. And if we were to speak d&d, the MC here is definitely neutral evil. I included him here cause it's entertaining to see him do bad stuff, then get punished for those bad stuff he did. It's just fun to see him reap what he sows. There are a lot more novels with fun and entertaining protagonists, but these are a few of the ones that really left an impression. Anyways, ty!
Been reading Master of Untold Daos lately and that MC has a personality that hasn't gone away. The story concept is similar to History's Number One Founder/History's Strongest Senior Brother, except it has actually stayed a parody so far instead of transitioning into playing it straight more like the other two.
Arrogant Yong Master Template A Variation 4. It's currently only 38 Chapters, though. The MC is reincarnated from Earth into a Cultivation World, with System. Thing is, he reincarnates into the body of an Arrogant Young Master who is fated to call calamities upon himself, which is part of why the MC was able to reincarnate into that body so easily. MC has to try to survive in this new world that's out to kill him, while satisfying the demands the System places on him, lest it abandon him, tearing out a chunk of his soul in the process. The MC's first task, take on a disciple with a minimum stat basis in the next few hours.
