Hey, at least there'll be food on the dinner table... ... ... Jokes aside, you'll want to get something for it to scratch, else it can and will scratch your furniture. As for your dog, it'll take time for it to get used to the cat. Also, feed it cat food. Canned if it's not fussy. Otherwise give it milk.

You may want to take it to the vet first. For the all around check up. The best food for kittens is chicken or any meat, not bones.

Do not feed your cats milk... Once they are grown and weaned off their mothers they no longer have the capability to process lactose and are hence lactose intolerant which means runny poops
Can it eat food or does it still need some milk? If so, try feeding it with milk that's for kittens and eventually change it's intake with soft food..
