Can people stop asking if manhwa is smut? If you click on the link for the manhwa raws and you don't see a red tag that says 19 on the corner, then it's not smut. If it was smut, you would need to be logged in and verified to even see the manhwa raws. Also ML isn't evil. He's just cursed. The novel have tags of "pure ML", "sweet ML", "charismatic ML", "upright ML", etc. Basically he's just an innocent guy so most likely even after he's cursed, his personality remains "innocent" but the curse makes him kill people. *** After much contemplation I bought the novel. Reminds me a lot of my roots in reading, fantasy- adventure, but reviews said it'll turn into comedy or gag from v2 on so I'll see. Half of v1 Spoiler The novel actually starts off with a prologue that shows the day when ML had told FL he will be leaving to become a knight. FL was crying in her pillow and ML came to leave her an acorn. When he left, she promised she will try hard to become a knight herself. He promised to be back for her. She told him not to promised that since she will become a knight and follow him. but that never happened even after 3 years, 3 full autumns passed without any contact. The manhwa is fast paced. The first 10 chapters of the manhwa is 40% of volume 1. Some events were revealed in different order but they were shown eventually. Also since it is a smut novel, the event that happened with ML and FL actually had sexual innuendo. When ML asked her if he can do more it meant he was asking her for consent for sex and she said yes knowing that. He asks her again later on when he put her to bed and she said the same, but then they saw the red light. After the event in chapter 10 of the manhwa they finally caught up with what was shown in the prologue of the novel. ML left not trusting the knights or the king of the continent. He only left because he felt he would have a better chance to fight the curse where the magicians are. At 17 they separated. The prologue in the manhwa with the myth is told right after this time skip in the novel. Because after the time skip, it was the day of the celebration to celebrate the knight, Evangeline. FL was never recognized as a knight even until 20. She ended up working in a flower shop for Eva (flower shop owner, a shaman) since if orphans can't leave the island after 17, they have to take a job. She actually wanted to teach young children the sword but she wasn't good enough to. She still continues to train. It was only at 20 when Eilosa promised she will write her a letter of recommendation and let her become a knight (the lowest rank though, under the same rank as the knight who fell for power and wanted to become stronger). Eva told her to enjoy the festival with Gideon who apparently likes her but FL keeps remembering ML. When she thinks of the kiss with ML, she realizes she couldn't kiss Gideon.
