Spoiler: ARC 2: Original Plot

Xie Mu was adopted to the Xie Family and became Xie Nanen's little brother. Xie Nanen taught Xie Mu how to paint, how to read and write and taught him about kindness. Xie Mu admires his big brother Xie Nanen. However, Xie Nanen died, not before telling XM to take care of his son Xie Shi. Xie Mu was forced to mature and took over the Xie Family. He became a qualified man and saved the Xie Company. But, Xie Mu became crippled because of the grandfather who does not want an outsider leading the family. Xie Mu planned to retire after Xie Shi graduated from college and pass it down to him like how it was supposed to be. Xie Mu just want to become a painter and stay peacefully. But Xie Mu got betrayed by his most trusted person. Xie Mu later comitted suicide.

 

Spoiler: ARC 2:

-MC transmigrated at the time when Xie Shi was about to graduate from college.
-Xie Mu actually have a fiancee, Zheng Yi, the only daughter of the Zheng Family. It was a cooperation between the two.
-Zheng Yi is eight years younger than Xie Mu. She was just 18 when they got engage.
-Zheng Yi later met Xie Shi, she fell in love with him, seeing him the same age as her. She even want to leave the Zheng Family to elope with him.
-People outside ridiculed Xie Mu and how his own fiancee became his nephews'.
-Xie Mu called Xie Shi and invited him. Xie Shi was lowkey admiring his Uncle on his wheelchair but also quite disappointed since he does not look like he's affected of what he did.
-Xie Shi apologized and asked for Xie Mu's blessing, saying how he really likes Zheng Yi. Xie Mu told him he grew up and also wants to pass the Xie Family down.
-Xie Shi was surprised and asked why but Xie Mu told him to ask the people of the company, not him, and excused himself since he's not feeling well.
-Chen Chuan, Xie Mu's servant for 5 years was called and pushed Xie Mu's wheelchair back to his room
-Xie Shi was taken under Xie Mu's tutelage and taught him the works in the company. Xie Shi finds himself observing Xie Mu more and more. Xie Shi also slowly taking over of the care of Xie Mu from Chen Chuan's hands.
-One time, Chen Chuan came to Xie Mu's room and removed his socks since he knew his Master does not like wearing one (caused by Xie Shi). It was seen how he actually fancies Xie Mu and was attracted by Xie Mu's milky white toes. If not for Xie Mu waking up, I think he will surely touch them lol.
-Xie Shi also was feeding Xie Mu and even bringing him some tonic for him to drink. However, it seems like the drink was spiked that causes Xie Mu to sleep deeply. After that at the end of the chapter it was said that Xie Shi walked into Xie Mu's room and started unbuttoning his clothes.

Yes, it's Chen Chuan who betrayed Xie Mu. Xie Shi used Chen Chuan's little son to threaten him.

 

Spoiler: ARC 2:

-Xie Mu found himself with a little bit situation when he woke up (I think it's a morning wood, remember how Xie Shi came to look for Xie Mu after he fell asleep? I think it was because of Xie Shi..?)

-Xie Mu asked for Chen Chuan and Xie Shi told him how Chen Chuan has a little son and how the mother of his son came to make trouble.

-Xie Mu is ready to invite Chen Chuan cute little son and live with them.

-Zheng Yi (XM's former fiancee) came to the mansion to look for Xie Shi, encountered Xie Mu and asked for forgiveness about how she did not abandon him because he became stuck with a wheelchair but because of falling inlove with Xie Shi.

-Xie Shi talked to Zheng Yi privately when he found out she came to find him. He told how he does not really like her and they are not really in a relationship. Xie Shi even said how good Zheng Yi schemed. How Zheng Yi abandoned his uncle.

-Chen Chuan came with his son Chen An. Xie Mu was happy and taking care of An An.

-Xie Mu noticed how Chen Chuan does not really like his son Chen An and was quite disappointed with him

-Xie Shi asked for a well known doctor to cure Xie Mu's legs, he asked if Xie Mu's legs can be cured and it is, but Xie Shi told the doctor to cure Xie Mu slowly. Doctor was sighed how this guy was truly a monster.

I do remember how Xie Mu woke up with Xie Shi in his bed. Xie Shi want him to know what exactly his intentions are.

-Xie Mu asked for Chen Chuan but he just came and stood there. Chen Chuan was threatened by Xie Shi.

-Xie Shi told Xie Mu how his so called "big brother Xie Nannen" is really not how he think he is.

Spoiler: Arc 2

I just noticed how Cheng (Chen? Not sure because MTL is confusing.) Chuan keep describing Xie Mu in the text as his husband...

Anyway,

-Xie Shi told Xie Mu that his father, Xie Nannen is still alive. How his beloved big brother left him and stayed overseas despite knowing Xie Mu was mourning because of his "death."

-Xie Shi even pulled Xie Mu for him to see how the coffin was buried and open. Xie Mu was screaming at him in rage how disrespectful he was to his late father.

-The coffin does not have any remains inside. It's empty. Xie Mu was so shook and dazed when he saw this. Xie Shi kept Xie Mu in the house and was being monitored.

-Cheng Chuan told him that he knew where Xie Nannen is. Xie Mu was desperate. He asked Cheng Chuan to let him meet his Big Brother. Cheng Chuan agreed and sneaked Xie Mu outside.

-When they reached the house. It was empty. There's no Xie Nannen. Xie Mu asked Cheng Chuan where his big brother was. Cheng Chuan told him that he does not know. Cheng Chuan promised that he and Xie Mu will stay together. Away from Xie Nannen, away from Xie Shi.

-Xie Shi knew what happened was long listening to their conversation in a car near the house. (I think he planted some listening device/tracking device to Xie Mu.)

-Xie Shi forcefully opened the door with his men. Xie Mu's are very weak now. Xie Shi told him that he will not let Xie Mu run away again.

-Xie Shi with the help of Cheng Chuan, broke Xie Mu's legs again. Hoping to make Xie Mu very dependent with him. Cannot go anywhere without him.

-Xie Mu's legs was treated by the doctor. The chance of his recovery was low. Xie Mu tells Xie Shi how it hurts.

-Xie Mu's mind became unstable because of the stress and the drugs to alleviate the pain on his legs. He started believing that Xie Shi is his big brother, calling out to him. Xie Shi accepted this and promised he will get Xie Mu in full recovery.

-Xie Nannen came home to China.

Um..so I skimmed to the last arc first(I haven't read any other ones) and it turned out to be the most dog-blooded one(should have read the other arcs to desensitize my tear glands), so I'll just mention it here.

Spoiler: Spoiler: Arc 4 Characters

1. Xie Mu: MC , married to the scum gong who considers himself as his half-brother (but is not) and is set on taking revenge against MC's family for abandoning him.(MC maintains his standard character as an innocent, naive and gullible white lotus)
2. Bai Zeting: the scum gong #1
3. Sheng Ye: scum gong #2, MC's childhood friend who murders MC's entire family so as to not let MC rely on anyone else but himself and pushes all the blame on #G1(1st gong)

 

Spoiler: Arc 4: Married woman (acc to MTL?)

1. XM has been married to BZ for awhile and has a baby with him. The world setting is such that same sex couples can also have children in lab with their genes but rule is that every couple can only hv 1 in 10 yrs and both the guardians of the child have to go through strict procedure for keeping the baby. So, MC and ML hv a kid of abt 6 months old when MC enters.
2. BZ treats MC pretty coldly but due to MC's influence he starts to notice MC slowly (like he notices how MC provides him with nourishment soup, cooks food and send to the company and even accepts the fact that he was busy w/o questioning him when a woman accepts his phone call...the woman was supposedly one of the executives' daughter who wants BZ to notice her and while BZ and her father were discussing she received MC's call to sow discord b/w the two of them)
3. ML believed that he was abandoned by Xie Jia(MC's dad) and thus plotted revenge on them because his mom(who was a prostitute and changed men like dresses) told him that he was BZ's dad on her death bed.
4. He started a relationship when MC chased him, got married and started his own business under the MC's help.

Spoiler: The plan and torture

1. ML had been planning to take over the Xie family and was plotting with ML#2 (sorry changed the titles a bit so as to avoid confusion) for awhile now(ML#2 is MC's best and only friend...since he destroyed all his other relationships so as to let MC remain with him...he plans to get revenge against them(MC'S family) for sending him to another country before properly confessing to MC abt his feelings...he is a complete yandere who wants all of MC's family to die so that the MC can only rely on him for life).
2. Whenever MC visited the baby and came back home to talk about it with him, ML responded in a perfunctory manner. He informed the ML that the child would be born prematurely (premature birth in lab was considered lucky because the child's growth was faster than other children and they can take him home quickly.) and ML was making plans about how to kill the baby avoiding suspicion of the govt. and MC.
3. ML started to develop feelings for MC but discarded them and believed that his feelings for MC were the same as that of a master to his pet, so he decided to treat MC as his pet and never let him go after his plan succeeds. Also ML#2 believed that ML wasn't in love with MC(though he had his suspicions) and wanted to get MC after their plan succeeded. ML was well-aware abt his feelings.
4. MC's family collapsed overnight and after MC got the news he worriedly told ML. ML revealed how he got his entire family in prison and would consider releasing them if he acted as ML's pet for 10 days. MC agreed to ML's plan and his days of torture started.
5. ML chained MC to bed, didn't let him were clothes, made him watch animal shows so as to let the animal behaviours rub off on MC.
6. After 10 days of being locked down, MC begged for ML to release his family but ML denied to do so. When MC became hysteric and punched ML he injected him with anaesthesia so as to make the MC sleep and locked him in a box with pores for breathing.
7. After waking up MC hysterically bet against the box but ML didn't open it till MC became obedient and only his chocked out sobs could be heard. ML was ecstatic that MC seemed to be well-behaved in his arms.
8. He got the news about the child passing away(it was pre-planned) and asks the hospital to take care of all the procedures pertaining to his death aka let him be in the morgue for three days and be burried in some unknown place.
9. ML later receives another call from the hospital and MC notices it. He timidly asks(he hadn't spoken for days due to the rule "pets can't speak") abt the child's health and seeing the MC'S expectant eyes he lies to the MC that the child was fine and if he acts as a proper spouse and loves him, he will let MC keep the child.
10. MC starts preparing for the child's homecoming happily and ML starts arranging for a fake child to replace the dead one after seeing MC's ecstatic look.
11. ML#2 breaks into the house w/in 2 days and informs the MC abt how he(ML) killed his uncle's family and the baby. MC is heartbroken and goes to visit the dead child at the morgue with ML#2.
12. The hospital asks for MC for the presence of both the guardians to complete the procedure of taking the dead child and he(MC) decides to divorce ML.
13. He prepares divorce papers and visits their house to make the ML sign the papers alongside ML#2. Meanwhile ML brings a fake child so as to appease MC but when he arrives at his home he realises that the MC knows everything.
14. MC asks ML abt his family and baby(and ML's regretting everything) and ML denies having any hand in his family's death. He also denies to sign the papers and MC asks him to come to court.
15. ML arranges a man to investigate abt the relation b/w ML#2 and MC's family's death.
16. He presents all the evidence to MC who is distraught to know that his best and only friend has massacred his entire family.
17. ML and ML#2 start to fight and ML#2 reveals to MC that ML was MC's abandoned half-brother. MC is shaken by the news.
18. MC walks around aimlessly and ML injects him with heavier doses of anaesthesia so he remains paralysed and doesn't try to escape ML. MC asks why he didn't kill him and ML says he loves him and won't ever leave him(ML's completely heartbroken by now because he realised his feelings for revenge (like the time when he asked MC to act as his pet) were actually his love for MC.
19. He arranges a nanny for MC to take care of him and notices that the younger man started to develop some mental problems (like he shook heavily when ML placed him on the bed-where they did that* under ML's captivity and also at the presence of ML he shrieked and cried violently).
20. To cure MC, ML decided to agree to ML#2's plan, albeit, reluctantly./SPOILER]

Spoiler: Big reveal and end of Arc 4

1. So, ML#2 plan was to get ML and MC to do a blood test so as to make a fake report that said that MC was not ML's blood brother(so as to make MC not behave violently at the fact of both the brothers' incest)
2. Umm...so after the blood report ML#2 was shocked to know that MC and ML were not blood brothers (because though he made preparations for fake report...the real one suggested that they weren't brothers)
3. At this point in story, ML is still not aware of this fact and plans to sell all assets to settle down in some foreign country alongside MC.
4. ML#2 investigates ML's mom's past and sends in a report, revealing everything to ML(after all, for ML his revenge was both his strongest and weakest point and if it were revealed both his mom and him didn't hv any relations with MC's dad, his entire revenge plan would hv been for naught.)
5. By this time, MC had become numb to everything and doesn't care whatever ML does to him.
6. ML reads the report to find that his mom was a promiscuous woman who dreamt of marrying a rich man. So, she made sure to spike MC's dad's drink and tries to make a lab baby with him(though he doesn't fall for her trap and doesn't even know her...also it was a wild seed)by participating in the government's new programme for making lab babies and spends all her savings on it.She tries to visit MC's dad but is intercepted by her uncle, who conducts a DNA test to confirm that the baby has no relation to the Xie family. She insists on him being MC's dad's baby and starts to imagine herself as the OG lover and MC'S mom being the other woman.
7. After ML found the truth, he didn't reveal anything because after all, he's a scum*.So, basically when they were trying to depart to another country (MC has already become a mute doll by now) the reporters arranged by ML#2 ask questions abt the death of their child and how ML ordered to stop the life support. That's when MC realises it was indeed the ML who was responsible for the child's death and collapses. ML#2 rescues him and ML is carried by the police for further questioning.
8. ML returns home after questioning and notices MC at home, humming some tune happily and cooking food.They sit at the dining table and MC asks ML whether he's happy to be a dad. He goes to the cradle and cuddles the baby(puppet) humming him a song and says how he'll take good care of him, etc. ML repeatedly tells MC that their child is dead but MC turns a deaf ear to him and concentrates on calming the baby. He(ML) hands a fruit knife and asks MC to stab him but not be like this but MC throws it away and asks him to not be like this since it would affect the baby negatively. Ml realises MC blames himself for everything and his favorability towards MC increases.
9. While ML and MC are sleeping MC takes care of the baby(puppet) and ML asks MC how he returned and MC reveals that ML#2 loves him and he likes him a lot too. Then he turns the puppet and reveals a fruit knife and unbuttons his shirt to show a scabbing wound on his chest(or back?)at the place where the heart is. He stabs himself with the knife smilingly, (as if he doesn't feel any pain) and says to ML that ML#2 let him go because of this all the while piercing a knife into his heart.
10. He asks with hopeful and expectant eyes(while stabbing) abt why he killed his baby and family...all the while saying that everything was his fault and for a final time asks whether he likes him. The ML seems to not hear anything and panickedly tells to visit the hospital and everything would be fine when MC says that it's already too late. The ML watches MC die while begging for forgiveness and carries MC's corpse out, when ML#2 comes and notices MC's apparent death.
11. He(ML) drives MC, visiting their old school and other places, all the while reminiscing about how MC used to treat him, realising what a treasure he lost. He burns himself while holding MC's ashes and ML#2 too kills himself later on.
