tho whenever anyone is free, if u feel like it, please give a bit more spoilers. the setting is a bit different from the usual world hopping novels and piqued my interest with the plot
Spoiler: Arc 2 Ghosts So SQ end up back in the xinghai space [star sea space] and decided to repair the system because the ML of the previous world deviated from the story...so he figured there must be some missing data.. he was reluctant to fix it but he thinks that he doesn't' want to end up in that situation again. So this next world is kinda vague for me for the base story....supposedly the female protagonist [FP] is a 100 year old ghoul or vengeful ghost...she wanted to take revenge on the person that killed her but couldn't find him and after 100 years or so decides she will take revenge on his descendants instead....the body the SQ ended up with was a youth that was scared to death by the FP... the ML of the world is a Taoist exorcist i think....this is a world where exorcism and ghosts are common..sometimes exorcists can use ghosts in a contract and co-exist, but their main job is to make sure the ghosts don't do anything harmful...thus help the ghosts solve their regret or forcefully destroy their soul [i think or send them to hell]. So anyway the instant MC woke up and saw a corpse looking at him, he used his soul force to punch it and it was severely injured and disappeared. MC realized he was the youth that got scared to death by the FP and that the ghost he punched was the FP. I think he was getting prompts from the system to sun bathe and moon bathe LOL. Sun gives off yang[positive/fire/heat] essence which is suppose to be harmful to ghosts. Moon gives off yin[negative/cold/ice] essence which is suppose to help ghosts become stronger [i think]. So MC thinks the system is getting revenge on him for having him roast by day and recover by night but does it anyway...eventually the owner of the building finds his body and gets it cremated and put its in a porcelain doll i think. Somehow [idk how], MC ends up back in the building he died in supposedly with his soul bound to the porcelain doll as well as there being a barrier around the building he is in....he was absorbing yin energy to the point where he can eventually break free of the barrier to leave. So ML comes along and notices the strong Yin energy and decides he should try to make the ghost leave or it will cause trouble...also he felt a sense of pain and sadness from the aura. MC didn't notice the ML come in the building until ML broke the barrier and saw him, ML instantly decided he wanted the MC...and was upset at whoever caused the MC to die before he could meet him. ML started talking to him while walking closer while MC was wary and told him to stay back or he will take his yang essence [pfft..this could mean yang energy or ..sperm bwahaha there was screenshot i posted earlier] so ...um i think ML took it both ways in meaning and was a bit excited at the thought...and thought he didn't mind sparing some yang energy to obtain MC. So ML got close enough to throw a sealing paper at MC and unfortunately MC couldn't dodge it cuz his soul energy decided to bail on him at that moment. MC's soul got sealed inside the porcelain doll and ML happily took the porcelain doll while coaxing the MC not to be upset with him, though MC was pretty unhappy at being caught as well as the last world's ML was traumatic for him so he's slightly panicking about this ML. ML otw ran into the FP who attacked them trying to take the yin essence from the MC, the MC told the ML that the FP was the one that scared him to death and MC instantly attacked her but she got away... MC was disappointed because he was hoping ML would insta-kill her so he can leave after taking the soul energy. ML took him home and made a cute little shrine for him and i think moved his soul into it while hiding the porcelain doll with his ashes in it and sealed it elsewhere in the house. ML started coaxing the MC while offering things to him. So MC just stays while watching tv and the ML feels happy just having the MC around..one day MC noticed there was alot of deaths with their yang essence completely drained and told ML that the FP was probably the one that did it and convinces ML to investigate because he wants revenge on her for his death. Villain in his one is ML's junior apprentice brother, their master was the junior apprentice brother's father, while ML maintained the clean path of exorcism [besides keeping MC round] the junior brother went down the dark path of torturing and catching ghosts of male youths to molest due to his sick fetish. FP was caught by him to use in order to frame ML so he can be jailed but he also wanted MC's ghost to play with...but his plan failed, he was caught and i think ML tortured him with something..that causes him pain but junior brother doesn't want to die because he fears the ghosts he tortured will get back at him and he also killed the FP's ghost early on so MC coulda left if he wanted. Hm... this one was a bit confusing for me so i wont spend too much time on it... so basically ML is very sweet in this one....his yandere trait is there because he insists on MC being near him no matter what but he's very sweet that the MC fell in love with his earnest feelings for him so even after the FP died he didn't leave...when the ML died in this world he told his apprentice to make sure to take MC's doll and bury it inside of ML's ashes and put them into the same box then bury them..he repeated this many times and asked the MC to wait for him in the next life. The MC watched as he died and when ML's soul was about to leave, the MC put a strand of his soul to mark ML's soul in order to find him again and then he left after giving instructions to the apprentice to release villain from his torture after ML and MC was buried for a week...and then afterwards bury the villain. [idk why specifically these instructions /shrug]
Spoiler: Arc 3 Western Fantasy SQ returned to the star sea space and thought about how he voluntarily stayed in a world til the end of the ML's life and never thought he would actually do something like that. He felt sadness at parting. Even though he marked the ML's soul he doesn't have high expectations of meeting him again after all ML is not like him who can travel to various worlds. The system prompted SQ to ask for permission to repair i think or reorganize data not sure, then absent minded, SQ let the system choose the next world for him. So this one base story is the male protagonist [MP] is betrayed by some nobles and people of the religious order [i think], while lost in the magic [?] forest he obtained the heart of the treant and returned to prove himself and eventually worked his way up to replace the god of the world. SQ got the role of a character that wasn't really mentioned i think, at least it wasn't detailed enough to affect the MP at all. Anyway he's in the body of a child that was told by his father to go into the magic forest and wait for his father to come get him, he was provided with basic supplies. The father then went back to his house to rescue his wife that was being held hostage by some nobles of the religious order. You find out that his father was a holy ranked magic beast and they wanted to get his child to contract..or force him into a contract not sure on this. The father self imploded since he thinks his wife is already dead and end up killing everyone there...except the woman who he thought was his wife did not die....she seems irritated too. So SQ ended up in the magic forest and being raised by the treants and became the mini-king of the forest among all magic beasts...one day the MP was found by SQ and taken back to his home to be treated... he felt his soul power shrink from MP and for a moment hoped that MP was his love from the previous world but was disappointed when he couldn't find the sliver of his soul. When MP woke up he seem to have felt a sense of obsession with SQ and thought he wanted be with SQ forever...eventually stuff happens when SQ goes out with the monkey-magic beast [ i think] to get some fruits at the edge of the forest and ran into the group that was trying to kill MP. They were attacked and eventually saved by treants and the other magic beasts of the forest, the people that tried to catch them were all wiped out in order to keep the secret of SQ being a holy ranked magic beast cub and also to make sure they can't bring more people back to try to catch him. SQ was escorted, unconscious, back to his tree house by the treants and he was in half beast form at this point, MP was surprised to see this and at first was alarmed because he asked the treants if the people who saw SQ this way were killed yet because that might cause them to bring reinforcements, the treants were surprised as they thought MP would be hateful ..but seeing this they decided to ask MP to look after SQ til he recovers. MP thought that he should find the opportunity to make a life and death contract with MP when he gets the chance so they can be together forever. SQ wakes up and after he recovers he gives MP the heart of the treant [its actually a fruit] and escorted him out of the magic forest and made sure he cannot enter it to find him again. Well basically he kicked MP out so he can continue with his story line. MP was upset at being kicked out but was determined become powerful enough so that SQ cannot toss him away like this again. Forgot to mention that MP was fascinated by SQ's beast form and half beast form...noticing this SQ got the shivers thinking MP got weird fetishes. A few years go by, i think 10, and SQ finally decides to leave the magic forest to find the where bouts of his parents. He follows a caravan to go back to the town that they use to live in but MP ran into him there and insisted on following him despite SQ wondering why MP was here because he should be fighting to take over the world. One night while sharing a tent, SQ decided to once again check MP for the sliver of his soul thinking MP was asleep....just as he was going to withdraw ...he felt most of his soul power being sucked away by MP.. MP pushed him down and told him not to be afraid and that he would return it soon. SQ panicked a bit here and MP made a life and death contract with SQ and returned all the soul power.... and with it the sliver of SQ's soul which was used to mark ML from the last world. SQ was happy at this but at the same time annoyed at MP for forcing a contract. MP started begging and coaxing SQ to forgive him, SQ thinking of how their time ended and how he doesn't seem to remember him this life decided to forgive him. Eventually they arrived at the old house SQ's parents use to live in and ran into the mother.... she expressed how happy she was to see him and invited him in. You find out that she was planting flowers that were considered poisonous to magic beasts...she brew this in her tea to disable both SQ and MP in order to force a contract with SQ. When asked to explain why she did all this, basically she tricked SQ's father into a relationship with her ...at first she wanted to contract his father but his father was too strong. So she resorted to sleeping with SQ's father while he was under the weakness of poison and determined she would take the resulting child under a contract. She said he was a perfect combination of a holy rank magic beast and a high bloodline of demons.... she was a demon masquerading as a human...but her plan was thwarted when SQ's father suddenly took him away from her the day she was planning to leave with SQ. So after getting the story and confirming that SQ's father is truly dead, MP helped SQ kill his demon mother and SQ said he would like to see MP rule this world. So they eventually replaced the god of the world and SQ was his holy contract magic beast, MP even made a shrine for him separately. They lived together for a long time til someone decided to take up the mantle of the demon god and came to attack, SQ decided it was time to leave as MP let him go with tears...SQ told him he will be waiting for MP in the next world. When the new demon god arrived, MP was still grieving over SQ leaving and blamed it entirely on the demon god abruptly wiping him and his entourage out and determined that he wouldn't let his world forget about SQ.
Aww.. there weren’t any love making scene. Well at the very least the ML yandere - ness is dying down low (for now anyway).
LOL ikr, there really isn't one til much later ...i think hmm until the futuristic beastkin world...just barely i think...a very detailed scene would be the one where the ML is the emperor and he's the champion scholar....totally hawt (⁄ ⁄^⁄ᗨ⁄^⁄ ⁄)
