Hi, looking for a novel where mc is actually just fine and dandy but due to...circumstances he does things that made it look like a grave is already prepared for him. Everyone is like panicking and pitying him but he just does his own thing and living quite well, would be great if its comedy centered. BL please or no romance where it's just pure funny misunderstandings
wait is TCF like that? because from what i remembered when still read it, he's doing well and not being seen as a weak chicken right??
Well, everyone thinks that he is frail and might die from spitting blood. Hence why the misunderstandings tag lol. Tho if you’re looking for a really ill mc then I Became a Sick Nobleman fits the bill.
wow i need to read TCF again then bc i have no recollection of that particular misunderstanding lol Thank you, but its harem haha
You should definitely read RIM as the harem is basically girls simping over mc and not the other way around. He just exploits them lol. As a harem hater myself, I would say give it a try!
I can second Regressor Instruction Manual! The harem really isn’t the main focus (and you can just skip the very few bits where it is), there’s definitely more of a focus on the main character’s platonic relationships with his friends, and the misunderstandings he causes intentionally. It’s much more of an exploitation than a genuine misunderstanding, but as a fan of the genre you’re looking for, I found it an incredibly funny read. Other than that… The Villain’s White Lotus Halo (BL) The S-Classes that I Raised (no romance, BL undertone) Let Me Shoulder This Blame! (BL)
thank you! maybe i will give it a wiggle, but is MC an asshole or is he actually genuinely nice sometimes bc the line that he made intentional misunderstandings peeves me lol
He’s basically got no morals! But everything really is for the good of the people he cares about, even if he doesn’t show it. There are a lot of really sweet moments where you can see his genuine care for his friends come out. But you gotta give him a bit of wiggle room if you’re going to go into it. Honestly, it’s a fun ride, even if it’s not the most moral one!
