yup sounds about right, I linked tony a reddit thread that had all of the blobs and a zip folder for them all so hopefully we get a few more

Hmmmm... A few things.

1) I don't care one bit about the QI x WW issue.
2) There is no QI Mod on NUF, they have a PR guy that talks in here though.
3) My reply was talking about a ranking that would allow people to see who are the most excluded groups, I think the feature that Tony implemented is good, but a ranking would be bad.
4) There are tons of Qidian threads in Novel General, don't hijack this one to talk about it.

 

This is a great feature, no more QI update spam for me!

People hate Qidian that much that they forced a new feature like this ... @Qidian, if you are reading this announcement then you should take some drastic measures to improve your standing and image in short term without waiting for nature to take its course in long term, coz you never know what will happen then! This is not China where you have major connections and can keep piracy under control ...

 

Tbf this feature should have existed from the beginning. I wanted something like this way before QI was even a thing.

I just had a "reading" list that i named won't read and had it not update on the release page so this just lets me delete that list

 

Sorry if it felt like a hijacking. I've never seriously spoken about this issue so it came out, but it was in reply about the justification of the Exclude feature, but not so much in the ranking part. As for that, well translators will feel bad. I don't know know a way around that because it does hurt when people don't seem to appreciate your hard work, but as they say, opinions are like a**holes, everyone's got one.

 

Same, but in my case I did want to read those novels; just not a specific translator's version of it.

 

Hm no choice to exclude JP or KR type of novels.

 

What If there are Novels of certain groups that people want to keep but excluding the group.

 

I doubt Tony has free time to release a feature which has almost zero to no significance ... Its possible that it was initially requested, but before Qidian mess there was hardly any such group which needed blocking. My guess is that quite a few requests were sent to Tony requesting this, thus forcing Tony to put it out. Then again, only@Tony knows the truth ...

 

You all do know that many of the translators on Qidian are just people who jumped ship from other translation groups, right?

 

That would be great tho. I would like to delete my "blanned" reading list and just filter. But sometimes books on my banned reading lists are translated by translators with books on my "active" reading list. So other than sites dedicated to harem, I can't use this feature.
