Hello, I've been trying to look for some more LN that are kind of similar to Emperor Domination + Desolate Era. Emperor Domination was my first LN, and I love it and I still currently reread it. Not because Li Qiye is OP, but the worldbuilding, buildup of the final fights, the whole Darkness, the Clans, etc. I love it I also finished and completed Martial World and ISSTH, which I also loved. Passed the Realmwar Arc in Desolate Era, everything was cool but I didn't like the whole gundam style fighting that took place but I still read it every now and then. I've also read Sovereign of the Three Realms (stopped while he was about to go rescue his mother), Divine Primordial of the Throne (some reason I just abandoned it, couldn't get into it), Renegade Immortal (could't get into it), 9 Hegmony Arts (waiting for more chapters, got up to continue, got up to when his spirt beast died).
Renegade Immortal is quite slow at the beginning but it will be worth it to sit through when you reach the mini-arc of Dao Comprehension. Pursuit of the Truth is pretty heavy on the philosophical part of the cultivation. Reverend Insanity has very interesting world-building and mythology. Silent Crown is also very expansive in their world-building, combining it with real-world mythology.
So sorry RI was good until he became a Zombie... then I forgot why I stopped reading it. Renegade Immortal was just too slow... I was up to the mid 300s when he arrived in some Demon Continent. PotT I hear is more depressing than Renegade Immortal
Lord of the Mysteries Great world building mythology gods angels and the like very interesting you should read it
I'm actually looking for something that focus more on Dao understanding (Desolate Era) and the Dao Heart (Emperor Domination) I don't mind politics or harems (currently reading Transcending of the Nine Heavens)
In Desolate Era, currently I am in book 15, Grand Xia world, can someone please spoil a little on what this gundam style war is. I would not want to waste time on this novel, if his power is based on gundams rather than his own body/soul and his comprehension. Currently, it has been really a good book till the chapters I have read
Spoiler: Desolate Era it's like using 10000+ cultivators in a formation using the sword comprehension of the mc to fight those at a a higher realm of cultivation. It is AWESOME
after the realmwar arc it gets VERY interesting as mc goes deep into the dao heart cultivation for recs: Anything work of I Eat Tomatoes is good for you. Try Lord Xue Ying True Martial World: sequel of Martial World Talisman Emperor: if you can overlook the part that talismans are a small part of the story Chaotic Sword God: Dao is 60% of the story
